REVIEW: Revlon Ultra HD Matte LipColor in Addicted

REVIEW: Revlon Ultra HD Matte LipColor in Addicted
I have meaning to do this review post since a while now but things have been simply crazy the past few days at work and personally as well... Plus with the long Independence Day weekend and the short trip that we took as a group just left me no time to do a review...
However, I am glad to be back to my daily routine and I feel all refreshed and am raring to go! :)

REVIEW: Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup Foundation

Review of Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup Foundation

So today I’ll be reviewing my favourite drugstore foundation. Revlon Colorstay Whipped Crème Foundation has been there for a while. I’ve been wearing this daily since last 4 months. I have oily skin and having to find a good drugstore branded foundation has always been a difficult task for me. So when I bought it, I was a little apprehensive but it surprised me and surpassed all my expectations.

Well guys if you still don't know about the Revlon kissable balm stains then you are missing a great product big time. This is one product which has taken both the international as well as Indian blog-o-sphere like a rage. These are basically balms with colors but not your average tinted balms these leave a stain your lips and also these are glossy. Interested?

Nail Art is so much Fun! I mean I never understood why people went so crazy about it earlier... But as I am indulging in it more and more, I feel like a whole new world of colors and patterns are opening up to me and I am loving it :)

Recently, when Suma “the” Sharma (yes that is how we address each other) came up with her favorite brands for products, I knew we would definitely share the favoritism for nail paints brand. Colorbar it was, for us, to take away the title for ‘Best Nail Paints’!  But we don’t swear buying all the products from our favorites. Do we? I am pretty sure you know the feeling, when you are dying to get that particular shade but you are not able to get it – SIIGH!

REVIEW: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain In Smitten

Review Of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain In Smitten
I generally keep trolling beauty blogs for new launches (somehow reading them on other's blogs seems more interesting than reading the same PR info in a mail delivered in my inbox by the same PR people), tips and tricks, makeup inspirations and well most importantly product reviews... So when you are in this "stalking" mode, it is really difficult to miss out on products that everyone has been talking, reviewing and raving about... Glaring examples would be the Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner Pop, MAC LE launches and most popularly the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. The raving reviews and the oohhhhss and aaaahhhsss that I have been reading about the latter was just so tempting that I had to jump the bandwagon and be a proud owner of at least one of those miraculous sticks that supposedly had the ability to transform my lips into kissable pouts that have been just bitten (Pun intended with gusto…

NOTD: Revlon Peacock Blue

One week of a taupe shade on my nails and now am back to brights ;) But keeping in mind that it is F/W 2012, I got myself this deep shade of Peacock blue from Revlon...

#MetallicNails #F/W2012

Now Vogue and Grazia have only been harping on how huge metallic nails are this season... Now I for one do like to look at glossy magazine pages strewn with metallic nail polish laden hands and nails but when it comes to my own manicures that I need to sport everyday, I generally prefer my brights and that too no metal. So how does one strike a balance between the trending nail fad and one's fav (and comfortable) manicure habit?

I kinda found a way in between :P and am quite happy with the result :D

REVIEW: Revlon ColorStay Creme Gel Liner in Plum Prune

I had read quite raving reviews about this product for non-Indian beauty blogs and when I saw them at the Revlon counter in Pune Central, I knew I had to have at least of these... I did think of grabbing two of these, the brown one and the purple one, but the Sensible Suma that does pop up once in a while warned me against it and advised me to first try out one of them. So I automatically picked up the purple one and brought it home with me.

My first reaction when I opened it was like "It's soooo tiny" and no the reaction was not in a cute way. It was more out of indignation than anything else... I mean they made me pay about 650/- bucks on such a tiny dibbi??? Then I took out the tiny brush that came with it and the cute way it would park itself inside the cap of the container lightened my mood and I was hopeful again :) Pigmentation wise it was superb and I love the little sparkly purple line that it created in just one stroke :)

I wore it and lo and behold, within an…

REVIEW & LOTD: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach

You know when you go out and buy something just because it is being written and talked about so much that if you yourself don't get it then you get a feeling of being left out? Of course you don't require it but you "need" it :P Classic examples? Maybelline BB Cream, MAC Cosmo, MAC Paint Pots and of course Colorbar I-Glide Pencils! For me another one joins the list and that is the range of Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks! Out of the list, Maybelline BB Cream and MAC Paint Pots Passed while MAC Cosmo and I-Glide Pencils Failed :( Colorburst lippies? Let's see :)

I bought my first Revlon Colorburst Lippy on Sunday during the Pune Blogger's Meet. How did I decide on the shade? Well a few days back I was going through other beauty blogs when I came across Sukanya's post about Revlon Colorbusrt Lipstick in Peach and she looked lovely with it :) So I knew this was the shade that was going to inaugurate my buying Revlon Colorburst Lippies :)

But unfortunately, as m…

READER QUERY: Loose Powders and Mascaras

Hey guys... Sharmi has a few doubts and would like some help from all of us...
Her queries are as follows:

1. I have hypersensitive oily skin. I am thinking to buy Oriflame Loose Powder in Medium shade. Does it give a good coverage?
2. I wear specs. I have small scare eyelashes. I want to wear mascara. Last time I used, I had experience falling of lashes. Could you refer me a excellent mascara.
3.Do you have any ideas how I can have thick eye lashes naturally?

1. Oriflame loose powder is a good option if you have oily skin. I have always felt that loose powder is a better option than compact and Oriflame products are know to never cause any reactions to the skin :) Oriflame as such offers two kinds of loose powders--- Giordani Gold Mineral loose powder and Oriflame Air Soft Powder. Both give excellent coverage. The Giordani Gold Mineral loose powder comes in "light" and "medium" shades and has an applicator puff with it. The Air soft powder on the other …
