Review: Herbs & More Vitamin Therapy Face Mist - Olive

This week's been treating me pretty rad! *touchwood*
I have gymmed everyday this past week, my weight is under control, I found my HG everyday foundation and my skin has never been better... What can I say, its Karma and well the Vitamin Therapy Face Mist by Herbs and More that I have been using since the past two weeks...

Honestly, when I first received the products from the people at Netsurf, I wasn't really sure what to expect. I had never heard of the brand Herbs & More and I had never seen any blogger review any of their products... So it took me a week to muster up enough courage to start using the products that I received in the press kit... And am I glad I took the plunge!

The Vitamin Therapy Face Mist is a facial spray infused with the goodness of Vitamin E, Coconut Water, Olive Extracts and White Tea. It claims to refresh one's skin instantaneously and also impart glow and it delivers! The brand also claims to use 100% natural extracts.

Price of Herbs & More Vitamin Therapy Face Mist

It costs INR 385/- for 200 ml

First off let me talk about the packaging. The facial spray comes in a plastic bottle with a spray nozzle. The packing is nothing great, its simply practical, cost effective and easy to use. I personally would have preferred a glass bottle but well...
The spray nozzle however is of a very good quality and it does spray a very fine mist that is not harsh on your face unlike some sprays that shoot a very forceful spray of liquid that can get painful. Also, it doesn't "drip" the liquid while spraying, if you know what I mean...

The product is watery and feels very relaxing on the skin. It doesn't burn or give an "activator" kind of a feeling that many face mists kind of impart. I have sprayed it on me after I got my eyebrows threaded and I didn't feel a thing! It simply feels like you are spraying water on your face. However, it is not drying, rather it feels very hydrating and even moisturising if you may.
I spray the mist after I have removed my makeup and cleaned my face. I let the product sit on my skin for a couple of minutes and only then apply my face cream.
It works great for my skin and there are times when I forget to apply any cream over the spray cause it is genuinely very hydrating. If that wasn't enough I get this glow immediately after a couple of minutes of applying the spray. It is magical that way and I know many of you may think that I am just saying it but I wish I could make you believe me :)

Fragrance wise, it has a kind of a mildly artificial "plant-ey" smell that disappears immediately after two minutes of application. Surprisingly though I find the smell pretty relaxing and not in the least irritating.

Herbs & More products can be bought online from the netsurfnetwork website.

I whole-heartedly recommend using this face mist. It would be great for all skin types. I see a huge difference in my skin's texture and I also notice a certain glow nowadays that I attribute to this facial spray.

  1. Hmm..seems to be worth checking out. Thanks for the review.

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :) Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either. This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal
