Kiko Milano Smart Lip Pencil - 709

Review of Kiko Milano Smart Lip Pencil in 709

Hey guys! I just got back from watching Udta Punjab and I must say that I loved it! Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from it because of the hype probably but I was stunned into silence by the movie. It seriously is a must watch and everybody did such a fabulous job in it... Alia Bhatt especially was outstanding but it would be unfair to not call out the others' performances as well...

Anyhow, coming to the post, today I am reviewing the Kiko Milano Smart Lip Pencil in the shade 709. This was a part of the Kiko Milano Makeup Haul and this is one product I regret not buying more of. I did get myself 3 backups but I seriously feel like I should have gotten myself more shades in this lip pencil... It is truly a fabulous lip pencil...

The first thing that strikes you about it is the shade... It is a gorgeous Fuchsia Pink, which magically suits all kinds of skin tones, from the palest of the lot to the darkest... Its that kind of a color... A universally flattering shade...

Price of Kiko Milano Smart Lip Pencil

It costs Euro (INR approx.)

The feature that I like the most about Kiko Milano Smart Lip Pencil is that it stays on for more than 6 hours easily including a meal... Its that fabulous really... It does not budge and clings onto your lips for its dear life... Literally... This would make you think that it would be dry but surprisingly enough, it is not. You do not even have to wear a lip balm underneath cause it does not dry your lips... It is magical really...

Texture wise it is fabulously smooth, you do not need to tug onto your lips. It just glides and ends up giving you a gorgeous pigmentation in one single layer...

I really don't have anything bad to say about this particular lip liner, except that it is literally like a crayon pencil and hence you need to sharpen it with a sharpener which I know a lot of people feel amounts to wastage... If you take that as a con then this is perhaps the only con that I can think of that this lip pencil has...

Do I Recommend?
It goes without saying that I recommend this pencil whole-heartedly... If you can get your hands on it then stock up on all shades possible!

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
