My Envy Box June 2016

So I am sitting here staring at my computer screen wondering how I should start this post and I can hear Arnab Goswami screaming his lungs out on TV in the other room... Half my brain is trying to get started with this post while the other half is trying its best to understand what the "debate" is really about :P
So you know what, am going to skip the initial chitter-chatter that I generally do in my posts and I shall dive right into today's post...

As the title suggests, today I am going to share with you all the contents of My Envy Box June 2016 Edition and the first thing that came to my mind when I unwrapped it was "OMG! How beautiful is the box really" :)
The dainty, feminine and sift floral print reminds me a frock that I had when I was 8 years old. I remember it was a sleeveless frock with pleases at the waist and a belt that could be tied at the back. My mum had stitched the frock for me and I used to love wearing it after I got back from school... We all have such memories from our childhood don't we? :)

My Envy Box June 2016
My Envy Box June 2016
Coming to the contents of My Envy Box June 2016, I have only one thing to say... I genuinely love it... I don't know if you've noticed but I did not really do a post on My Envy Box May 2016 (I only posted about it on Instagram & Snapchat) and that is because I hated the contents! They were simply Meh and it failed to excite me one bit. On the other hand the June 2016 box is fabulous and I am looking forward to using all of the products in it. Of course if they could have popped in at least one makeup product it would have been just perfect but well close to perfect is good enough for me ;)

This month's My Envy Box contains 5 products, 1 full-size, 2 deluxe size and 2 sample size. Out of the five, two are fragrance products while the other three are skincare...

Herra Hair Care Protect Hair Perfume

This is the product that I am most excited about. I love to have my hair smell yummy all through the day. If you've read my recent hair care review posts you'd know that I love to get a delicious whiff every time I flip my hair and hair perfumes are the best way to achieve it :)
The Herra Hair Perfume smells divine. It smells expensive if you know what I mean, hell it is expensive but the best part about it is that it not only imparts a delicious fragrance, it actually is good for your hair (apparently!). Does it really do so, only time will tell ;)
Price: INR 2495/- for 50 ml

O3+ Aloe Derma Hydrating Gel

I love O3+ products and every month there is at least one O3+ product in My Envy Box... But my love for the skincare brand bloomed when my salon started using it for facials. Trust me when I say that my skin has never been better! It's products are great for dry skin and I am hoping that I will like this month's Hydrating Gel with the same passion :) As far as the name is concerned, what's there not to like? It contains Aloe, is hydrating and the gel form is perfect for Summers :)
Price: INR 385/- for 50 gms

Calvin Klein CK2 Perfume

I am not a fan of Calvin Klein perfumes but you already know that... However, the fragrance this month CK2 is pretty bearable and at times I even kind of like it. However, it is unisex and to me it smells like a man's fragrance. Hence, I don't know what to feel about it...
Price: INR 3800/- for 100 ml

L'Occitane Divine Cream

*stands up and claps*

The L'Occitan Divine Cream is well divine and honestly, I did not really expect anything less. Skincare by L'Occitane is always spot on and hence even before I tried the cream I knew I would love it... And that's exactly what happened... I fell in love with it :) The cream smells good, it feels so luxuriously soft and it is hydrating to the core... I would have honestly bought the full size but the price is so steep that I know it may not be worth it after all... Sad!
Price: INR 6990/- for 50 ml

Votre Purifying Deep Cleansing & Clearing Masque

Votre is an interesting brand and I got to hear about it due to the May 2016 edition of My Envy Box. Last month's box contained a bottle of Lemon Essential Oil by Votre (I haven't used it yet) and this month it contains a face mask by Votre. I used it yesterday and I kind of like it... It seems to be multani mitti based and even though it is supposed to be for Oily skin, I did not find it one bit drying... It left my skin feeling very refreshed and surprisingly supple. The only thing that I did not like was the fragrance :/
Price: INR 1090/- for 100 gms

So that's about it about this month's My Envy Box. What do you think of the products?

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018 Denim is forever. It's versatility makes it a classic and in the form of a jacket it not just looks dapper and en vogue but is also comfortable and convenient... I love denim jackets because they are perfect for Pune's so called Winters and because they are the best accessories for any kind of outfit...

Going through some of the Fall Winter 2017-18 collections from the likes of Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney, denim on denim seemed to be the trend in boxy and boyish silhouettes. I am not a very big fan of denim and denim and hence I prefer to pair my boxy denim jacket with a flowy, floral dress that makes the look strike a balance between feminine and androgynous.
