Makeup Is A Wonderful Thing & LOTD
What I really love about makeup is that there are no rules in it. Living in a society where one is expected to behave in a certain way, live in a certain way, venting out in a creative way with makeup as a medium is truly a welcome change...
It is so easy to lose oneself in the myriad of colors, textures and techniques...
Color combinations like Blue and Brown, Purple and Green are something that would never have even crossed my mind if it wasn't for makeup. It's encouraged me to experiment to my heart's content and try things that I may have never thought of doing before... Its a wonderful thing really...
I know there are times when we get into the nitty-girtties and come across "rules" like don't line your lower lash line heavily if you don't wear a liner on your upper lash line, or the one about how one should never use a black eye brow pencil... You get the drift... But the makeup scene is now evolving and boy are we glad about it...
In my today's makeup look, I haven't really experiment a lot per se but I have strayed from my usual kohl lined eyes and well defined lips. I have instead taken a softer route and gone with innocent, mermaid-ey eyes and "just-bitten" lips that imparts a certain vulnerability to the whole look... I don't know if its wearable in the classic sense but I quite like how it turned out to be...
I hope you guys like the look as much as I do...
