Rene Furterer Paris Shampoo And Conditioner Duo Review!
ISLM Writer: Ishleen
Hello Munchkins!
How is everyone doing? I do not know if anyone of you noticed but I stole a couple of days off of ISLM as I have been shifting homes! And man, is it tormenting! I get pretty attached to people and things alike and it is never easy for me to part ways! And all this physical as well as emotional assault that I have been going through has been undoubtedly taking a toll on both my skin and hair! And along with all this, there was a shampoo conditioner duo which I had been testing since the past few weeks now! Did the duo help me manage my hair better or added to the assault? Let's just find it out!
The first thing which struck me, and struck me hard was the fact that it retailed for 1200 bucks for a small 200 ml of product! And at that very moment I knew that this thing had to be par excellence in order to just retail for that huge a price.
The shampoo comes packaged in a light green squeezy tube with a nozzle top and has transparent shampoo inside it. Although I fear the shampoo might leak out of the tube if I pack it in my suitcase while travelling.
My experience
To be honest initially I was a bit sceptic about using too much (read wasting even an ounce) of product as it was expensive and shizz so I took a very small amount of product on my palm and tried washing my medium to long length hair with it, but sadly the product did not lather well. So I took more shampoo but still, no lather at all. I know some of you might think that sulphate free shampoos do not lather and all, but that is how I like my shampoos to work. This way I can feel my shampoo cleansing my hair thoroughly, but anyhow, even this shampoo clears the hair off any dirt and grime and one wash is enough for third day hair.

Rene Furterer Karite Intense Nourishing Conditioning Cream
Ok, so when I was only trying to recover from the initial shock of the shampoo's price, my eyes just met the price tag of the conditioner and was I taken for a laugh riot! This baby, even less in quantity, only 100 ml of product retails for 2200 bucks. Yes, you read that right! But there is no end to splurging, and people do invest in good products. And trust me this conditioner is worth every penny that you have invested in it. This baby comes in a dark green opaque squeezy tube and has the same nozzle top but is much more sturdy and reliable than the shampoo packaging. The conditioning cream is yellow in colour and has some tiny beads like things in it which make it look rather fancy.
My Experience
My (untreated) hair had been all damaged and frizzy since quite some time and I badly wanted some respite from all those bad hair days. And to my surprise, this baby gave me just what I wanted. Heaving sighs of relief now! I use just a small dollop of the conditioner on my wet strands and avoid my scalp completely. Preferably leave it on for a good 5-7 minutes (I kept it for a good 15 minutes and the results were visible) and wash it off with cold water to seal in all the goodness. I actually see my hair texture changing and trust me I do not vouch for a hair product until and unless I fall in love with the product heads over heels.

DeleteHey.. I have been a silent reader of your blog since years but today I had to put in a word on this product.. I have used this particular conditioner/masque and it works like magic. With every use I could see my hair strengthen.. Few other products which work the same way are macadamia hair masque and Sebastian penetrait masque.. Check them out :)
