My Envy Box - March 2016

My Envy Box - March 2016

Can we please take a minute to admire the beauty of the box, the colors, the way it symbolises Holi :) My Envy Box March 2016 is simply stunning and it comes filled with goodies...

This month's My Envy Box consists of 5 products, 2 full size and 3 sample size, which is awesome. The products are a mix of awesome and simply Meh! and let me take you through what worked for me and what didn't...

1. BBlunt Anti-Frizz Leave In Cream

For best results apply it on wet hair and the whole beauty blogging scene is in love with it... I however, am not. I tried my best but it just doesn't seem to work for me. And this is not my first tryst with this anti-frizz product, I had received a sample of it long ago from BBlunt themselves but I seriously did not like it then and neither do I like it now! :/

Price: INR 450/-

2. Bioderma Photoderm Spot SPF 50+

The name is quite a mouthful isn't it? And even though it is a teeny tiny tube that I have received, I am super excited about it :) The thing is I am planning a very exciting trip next month and I want to be prepared with all the SPF that I can carry with me... Thus these sample size sun protectors are just perfect... Plus it has SPF 50! How can I not be intrigued at the least?
It is waterproof, sweat-proof and is anti-aging...

Price: INR 1485/- for 30 ml

3.  L'Occitane Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner

The name seems pretty dry to me, I mean a volumizing shampoo & conditioner I get but they could have thrown in some fancy adjectives, you know... Just saying... I have never tried this product but I know whatever I have tried from L'Occitane has always been a huge hit for me and so I am looking forward to trying these out at the earliest.

Price: INR 1460/- each for 300 ml

4. Hedonista Night Blooming Jasmine Frozen Ittar

Now that is what I call EXOTIC... The name oozes mystery and just the description alone is enough to take you to a trip to Arabian Nights... Never heard of the brand Hedonista but the fragrance is simply out of this world! Its floral, a little heady but in a subtle way and is so so feminine that you forget about any other fragrances that you have been wearing all this while... It is intoxicating and trust me when I say that your man would love it too, on you of course!
The staying power is so-so at about 3 hours after which you have to re-apply...
Frozen Ittar is simply a fancy name for solid perfume and Night Blooming Jasmine I think is Raat Rani or Champa...

Price: INR 1045/- for 20 gms

5. Ava Body Moisturiser with SPF 30
I haven't yet tried the moisturiser but I have smelled it and it smells beautiful. It has a subtle feminine fragrance with hints of vanilla and subdued floral notes... It is a sample size and hence it straight goes into my travel kit that I am preparing for the trip next month (details later, I promise!)

Price: INR 650/- for 200 ml.

Did you order your My Envy Box too? Which product was your favourite?

  1. The March Envy Box looks really good.

  2. Good to see that you have 5 products. I got just 4 products :(

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018 Denim is forever. It's versatility makes it a classic and in the form of a jacket it not just looks dapper and en vogue but is also comfortable and convenient... I love denim jackets because they are perfect for Pune's so called Winters and because they are the best accessories for any kind of outfit...

Going through some of the Fall Winter 2017-18 collections from the likes of Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney, denim on denim seemed to be the trend in boxy and boyish silhouettes. I am not a very big fan of denim and denim and hence I prefer to pair my boxy denim jacket with a flowy, floral dress that makes the look strike a balance between feminine and androgynous.
