LOTD: Easy Glossy Glamorous Makeup Look

LOTD: Easy Glossy Glamorous Makeup Look

As we wave the Winter season goodbye, I just wanted to take this opportunity to do a glam and glossy makeup look as an ode to the colder season. Very soon you'd be seeing mattes, pastels and other such summery trends on the blog and this probably is the last fall makeup look that I will be doing this season...

I am personally a huge fan of glossy makeup with a lot of highlighter and non-matte foundations. It could be because I have dry skin or could be because glossy, glory skin is synonymous with youth and supple skin ;)
This look that I have created uses very minimal and easy to get your hands-on products.

The Makeup Look

Makeup Breakdown
1. The first step in achieving a glossy makeup look is to use a non-matte finish foundation. I have used a BB cream that is well suited for dry skin and gives a glory finish.
2. Next I used a highlighter on the bridge of my nose and on my cheekbones.
3. I applied an Orange-Red blush on my cheeks for a flushed look.
4. I applied kajal and liner on my eyes and finished the ye makeup with some mascara.
5. Finally, I used a glossy pink lip color to finish my look.

Makeup Products Used:
1. The Body Shop Vitamin E BB Cream
2. Bobbi Brown Highlighter Brick in Bronze
3. Maybelline Eyebrow Pencil
4. Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Black
5. Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Push-up Eyeliner

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal

Changes in my Skincare and Fitness Perspective Post 30

Changes in my Skincare and Fitness Perspective Post 30 #Adulting One early morning while I was sipping an exceptionally strong cup of coffee and introspecting I identified a few lifestyle changes that I had incorporated in the past year or so. On further retrospection I realised that these changes were a part of what I perceived would be good for me in the long run... When did I start thinking about my health in the future? When did I start worrying about how my skin would be 10 years down the line? OMG was I #Adulting? Is this even the correct usage of the latest hashtag?

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener  Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work... Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
