Catrice Waterproof Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Karate With bronze Lee Review and Swatches!

Catrice Waterproof Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Karate With bronze Lee Review and Swatches!

ISLM Writer: Ishleen

Hello gorgeousness!
How are you guys doing? As of late I have been getting so many messages asking why I do not do any eye product reviews and focus so much on lip products solely? So my answer would be that I love my eyes, and I love using lot of coloured eyeliners on myself, but I am a hard pleaser and not every pencil i have used has always made me happy! And trust me when i say that I have used a lot, because I actually have!

So today I am here with the review of the Catrice Waterproof Long Lasting Eye Pencils, and the shade I am reviewing today is a gorgeous metallic copper tone which sells by the name Karate with Bronze Lee! You know how I hate brands which do not care to even name their products and shades and just assign them bland sounding numbers, and this is where catrice products give me such a kick! I mean how much more fun can a name be? *giggles*

The pencil which retails for INR 330 is such a bargain given the quality which is so much better than the much hyped Indian brands which retail for way more. Although availability is a major drawback for catrice products, but for the price and quality this little German brand is absolutely unbeatable!

Coming to the packaging, the pencil is a retractable one with the cap and the end of the pencil being colour coded, bronze in this case! The best part of the pencil is that at the end is attached a little sharpener which can be used to get a fine tip before each application for that #eyelineronfleek look!

As for the shade, as the name suggests, Karate In Bronze Lee is a gorgeously pigmented, metallic copper brown shade which looks so amazing on our warm Indian skins! The shade has a nice metallic sheen to it which makes it look wet and glossy, but is indeed dried up and sticks to the lids like forever.

I do not like pencils which tug on my skin, and this pencil, till the time it dries up (which is like after 1.5-2 years) is smooth to apply but not at all like the excessively creamy pencils which break off with the heat or pressure! Goes on super easily, dries up and sets within seconds, does not smudge or budge even when it comes in contact with water or you run it over with a finger! How much more amazing can you expect your eyeliner expect to be?

I have super duper oily lids and if this baby can stay on me for more than 5 hours without budging, just imagine what it can do for the normal lids or slightly oily eyelids! If you can just go get this little tube of goodness! As for me, I have a couple more shades which i will surely share with you girls if you want!

And here I have created a smokey lower lash line look with this eyeliner pencil!

So to sum it up all, here are the pros:

  1. Affordable
  2. Comes with a tip sharpener
  3. Nice sturdy, retractable packaging
  4. Gorgeous mettalic copper shade
  5. looks glossy, but sets up instantly
  6. Stays for more than 5 hours
  7. High on pigmentation
  8. Waterproof
  9. Smudge-proof
  10. Very easy to apply and does not tug on the eyelids

Cons?

Are you kidding me, there are none! :)

  1. There is such a great amount of rivalry out there; between who is more alluring that ladies depend on cosmetics to wind up the most lovely they think they can be. To represent, let us consider then after situation. A man meets a lady surprisingly. Her lips look delicate and ruddy, her skins smooth, with marginally become flushed cheeks, her blue eyes appear to be brilliant and shimmering. In all probability, the man will be pulled in to her. He may not see that she is wearing cosmetics since it is quietly connected. bangalore makeup artist

  2. The eyeliner shade looks gorgeous. I like the mild metallic sheen it has.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In NC42

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.
