HAUL: Accessorize, Zara, The Body Shop and FabIndia

It's Monday today and I swear I cannot get my head around how is it that I get myself to work every beginning of the week without fail! Coffee of course helps but I kinda have a feeling that it is probably making me put on weight again, though I do give sugar a skip... But well you gotta prioritise and choose what works for you...

And well... Coffee wins hands-down over weightless...

Life is cruel...

Or so it seems... But then there is shopping and life doesn't seem as bad ;)

On multiple such shopping sprees, I went out and got myself some super awesome stuff and it goes without saying I had to share with you all... Honestly? Its been a while since I have been blogging and all of you have been such an integral part of my journey that I cannot help but not think of you as my special friends...

Soooooo, back to my haul...

The New Delhi airport is like a very very fancy mall... No surprise there, but its tempting as hell! I mean what is a girl gotta do at 7:00 am in the morning, an hour to go before her flight departs and is surrounded by brands that make her go weak in the knees?

So, I shopped :D I didn't plan to... I was seriously just browsing and you know window shopping, when I saw this gorgeous beaded clutch bag... It was for around 5k but had a 70% discount tag on it... Needless to say, I bought it...

And once you buy or rather decide to buy something, the dam is broken and your shopping bag, basket in this case sees other stuff in it too... If you know what am saying ;)
So I got the beaded clutch, got a bright Orange wallet and a very delicate looking golden earrings...

Zara sale is probably the only sale that goes on for the longest time ever... It went for a straight 2 months and trust me it is freaking tempting! So I gave it all in *grins*... Though like an idiot I ignored the sale items and went for the New Arrivals... Trust me when I say that my bank balance feels like I cheated on it and we have still not made up :(

I got myself a pair of dark green suede pumps (very classy!), 2 T-shirts, 3 tops and well a roll-on perfume :)

The Body Shop

You guys know The Body Shop is like my most favourite skincare brand ever, right? :) It is... And my no trip to the mall is complete without me getting myself something from TBS... It just doesn't feel right to walk by the store and not enter it... It just doesn't... *shrugs*

I re-bought the TBS Vitamin E BB Cream and since my Glazed Apple Body Butter was almost getting over I decided to try out the Fijian Green Tea Body Butter... I already have the body mist and so this was a no-brainer as I am huge believer of layering... If you are wondering how it smells then let me tell you that whatever I say will not be enough, you have got to try it out at the store... Still I'll leave you with how delightfully summery it smells :)

Also, I got myself the Indian Night Jasmine Shower Gel... The Indian Night Jasmine is my staple fragrance and I wear it every single day of the week... I generally switch between the body mist and the perfume oil so it made sense for me to get the same fragrance in a body lotion... Well yeah, a body lotion, however I bought the shower gel by mistake and well I am not complaining ;)

FabIndia is special...
I enter a FabIndia store with a blank mind and let the stuff at the store seduce me ;)

This time I went a little cray cray over the soaps and I got myself 1 each in Mint, Cocoa Butter and Musk... Then I got myself an Organic Garlic chutney and 2 woven clutch purses in Golden and Black each...

So that's about it...
I'll see you guys in my next post :)

  1. Haha we all go cray cray when it comes to shopping

  2. Yay for the haul. I am also cray cray I mean when it comes to shopping =))

  3. I know what you mean by that Delhi Aiport thing. It is difficult to stop oneself. Everything looks like some treat I deserve. Loved the shades and the everything you got from Zara.

    1. I swear!!! It is so tempting!!! I'll probably miss my flight one day if this goes on... Siggghhhhhh... But I guess it'll be worth it ;) *giggles*

  4. drooling, drooling and drooling :* :* :*

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :) Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either. This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids. Image of the Product Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil in Navy Blue Swatches Swatch: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue LOTD Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal
