Chambor Velvet Lips Lip Balm Review

ISLM Writer: Hina

Hellooo beauties!!
I hope everyone is doing awesome! And summers are already here,be it winters or summers what might be that one single must have product in our beauty routines? Any guesses??? Yeah… yeah… yes… It’s the lip balm. Moisturizing lips with a lip balm must be an indispensable part of our beauty regime to keep them supple and pretty. Lip balms are so essential in lip care and I keep on hoarding them. After using this for more than 5 months now, I must say am in love love with this.

So here I am with the review of lip balm from Chambor. Chambor products have always fascinated me for their classy packaging, so when I glanced upon this lip balm at the Chambor counter I knew I had to have it plus the tagline “Velvet Lips’’ made it more inviting to me!
So let’s get started with the review of Chambor Velvet Lips Lip Balm.

Price of Chamber Velvet Lips Lip Balm

Rs.295 for 4g

Product Description from Chambor

  • Velvet Lips is a soft, smooth and velvety lip balm.
  • Its Intense Moisture Therapy Lip Care not only locks the moisture in your lips but does a lot more!
  • Protects and helps relieve chapped lips
  • SPF 15 provides UVA & UVB protection
  • Gives your lips a soothing, smooth feel
  • Keeps lips looking younger

Packaging is so classy and comes in a little transparent pot with a dark navy blue colored glossy cap. The packaging is travel friendly.

Helps protect against dryness and chapping. Helps soften and condition lips.

Smooth across your lips as often as required. Perfect to prep up your lips before applying matte lipsticks or any other lipsticks.

The lip balm is of clear white solid buttery soft texture, which does not melt away in the heat and on swirling your finger in the pot, you get a thin layer of transparent lip balm which when applied on lips melts like a dream. It does not feel waxy, greasy or heavy on the lips after application and keeps them hydrated for a good 4-5 hours as it’s made with the intense moisture lock therapy formula. Helps in softening up all the dead skin. It also has SPF 15 which helps in sun protection.

The lip balm has a mild fragrance which is not irritating and it fades away moments after application.

  1.  Packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.
  2.  Presence of natural bee wax and shea butter which locks in moisture.
  3.  Has SPF 15.helps in sun protection.
  4.  Protects from pigmentation.
  5.  Amazing staying power.
  6.  Very hydrating.

  1. Pricey
  2. For those who love tinted lip balms this is not fascinating.
  3. Tub packaging, which is unhygienic.
  4. Contains parabens

I will be surely repurchasing this, as a little goes a long the product is totally worth the price.

ISLM Rating:

Until my next post take care all you beauties. And hope you all have an amazing and awesome time...

  1. Looks good! And I like non tinted lip balms <3 But the tub packaging is so difficult to maintain hygiene :|

My recent post: Maybelline White Superstay Compact Review | Better than L'Oreal Matte Magique?

  2. The lip balm sounds nice but they could have opted for a squeeze tube packaging instead of a tub.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018 Denim is forever. It's versatility makes it a classic and in the form of a jacket it not just looks dapper and en vogue but is also comfortable and convenient... I love denim jackets because they are perfect for Pune's so called Winters and because they are the best accessories for any kind of outfit...

Going through some of the Fall Winter 2017-18 collections from the likes of Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney, denim on denim seemed to be the trend in boxy and boyish silhouettes. I am not a very big fan of denim and denim and hence I prefer to pair my boxy denim jacket with a flowy, floral dress that makes the look strike a balance between feminine and androgynous.
