REVIEW: Sugar Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner - Black Swan

Review of Sugar Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner - Black Swan

As I sit on my living room couch watching Django Unchained with the pati, nibbling on some nachos, I cannot help but feel contented... My mom says feeling satisfied is a state of mind and I completely agree with her. There are days when I have almost everything working for me and I still feel like something's missing while there are days when nothing seems to be going the way I want them to and yet small, basic things make me feel like I need nothing else in life...

And hence I feel that the verdict of a product review also depends on the state of mind you are in. Think about it... Isn't a person more prone to rate a product higher if the person is in a "satisfied" mood than when he or she is having one of those days? You know what I mean, right? :)

Anyhow, today I shall be reviewing a waterproof eyeliner by the brand Sugar and it is called Eye Told You So in the shade Black Swan. I received it in my Fab Bag subscription box. We all know the brand Sugar for their Matte As Hell Lip Crayons but only a few know about the eyeliner and today I am here to tell you all about it...

Price of Sugar Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner

It costs INR 699/-

Sugar Eye Told You So Eyeliner is a waterproof eyeliner and the shade Black Swan is a jet black that dries to a beautiful matte. Texture wise it isn't too goopy and neither is it very watery, its just perfect. It dries up quick when applied and it stays put for about 5 to 6 hours on my oily lids. The eyeliner does not crack or flake and it genuinely is waterproof but do note that it isn't water resistant. Hence, it is easy to remove with a face wash or soap.

The eyeliner comes with a long felt-tip applicator, which is both sturdy and flexible. It makes it extremely simple to line one's eyes with it.

  1. Jet black shade
  2. Dries to an intense matte
  3. The long applicator is very easy to work with
  4. Waterproof but not water resistant
  5. Does not sting or burn the eyes
  6. Stays put on oily lids as well.

  1. It is not easily available

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
