REVIEW: Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow - Mixed Berry

Maybelline could not have had better timing for coming up with its new Baby Lips variant called Candy Wow!
Finally the cold season is starting to make its presence felt in Pune and am I glad! This week we have been experiencing a little nip in the air and it is no doubt a welcome change :) And come Winter season more than the chill its the dryness that starts affecting me and I find myself reaching out to my trusted Baby Lips lip balms...

Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow comes in 4 variants and the one that I am reviewing today is in the shade called Mixed Berry. It is a gorgeous berry-pink shade that isn't too striking but it is a beautiful shade that can be worn with ease any time of the day.

Price of Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow

They cost INR 275/-

Packaging wise, the Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow sticks come in brightly coloured "chubby stick" packaging which is both cute and striking. They are retractable sticks, which essentially means that you need to twist up the stick to dispense product. The "crayon" inside has a rounded tip and it glides on smoothly when applied.

Texture wise, Baby Lips Candy Wow are lighter and less thick than the previous Baby Lips versions and have a shinier finish as well. They are also more pigmented. They have fruity fragrances that disappear after a while and I love how the Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow feels on my lips.

I just have one issue with them and that is that they make your lips feel very dry when the product fades away after 4-5 hours of wear time.

Overall Rating:
9/10

Recommendation:
Buy it! Its cute, its effective, its pocket friendly and well it makes your lips soft and pretty :)

  3. Good review :)I am sure every girl will grab one owing to its super cute packaging. But I feels they are slightly overpriced and don't perform as good as their predecessor

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In NC42

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.
