September (2015) Favorites: Haircare, Skincare and Makeup

September has been an interesting month for me. I had the good fortune to try and test a lot of new brands (for me) and a lot of new products and hence I knew I had to document my experiences and let you all know about what products to look out for...

Last month I for the first time got myself something from BBlunt. Haircare by BBlunt has been written about a lot and many bloggers have already reviewed a number of products from the brand. I however had not had a chance to try it out. But this time fed up with my hair, I knew it was time to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. I got recommended the BBlunt Born Again Shampoo and Conditioner and I promptly went and bought a pair. The rest as they say is history :)

September also saw the launch of StudioWest Beauty and Makeup products courtesy of Westside Stores and some of the products from the range are simply the bomb! The kajal and eye liner especially are something that I know I will be repurchasing again and again. They are awesome pigmentation wise, they do not smudge or melt and they are very very comfortable to the pocket!

September means fall and this is the time when my skin needs some extra TLC. Enter The Body Shop and their fabulous Body Butters without which my skin is left aching for hydration... My skin laps up the body butters like there was no tomorrow... This time instead of going for the usual suspects like Olive, Cocoa and Brazil Nut, I  decided to give Wild Argan Oil Body Butter a shot and well needless to say I am left impressed as usual :)

Also from TBS this month I discovered a new fragrance, Fuji Green Tea. If you love citrus, green tea-ish fragrances then this a must for you!

I also have a Pink Lipstick from the Maybelline Colorshow range called Cherry Crush in my September Favorites kitty cause I figured with Fall just around the corner, a pink lipstick should make its presence felt among the browns, berries, marsalas and stuff...

Which are your September Favorite products. Do share your recommendations with me :)

For more details about why I loved each product last month and their prices do check out my video...

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018 Denim is forever. It's versatility makes it a classic and in the form of a jacket it not just looks dapper and en vogue but is also comfortable and convenient... I love denim jackets because they are perfect for Pune's so called Winters and because they are the best accessories for any kind of outfit...

Going through some of the Fall Winter 2017-18 collections from the likes of Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney, denim on denim seemed to be the trend in boxy and boyish silhouettes. I am not a very big fan of denim and denim and hence I prefer to pair my boxy denim jacket with a flowy, floral dress that makes the look strike a balance between feminine and androgynous.
