My Experience with Maybelline The Colossal Liner in Black

The packaging of the product is of a felt pen – very simple yet elegant and effective in use. The body is sleek black with a proper cap that shuts with a click. It is light weight and travel friendly too. The applicator i.e. the felt tip of 0.4 mm is extremely easy to use due to the desired flexibility. Even a beginner like me felt comfortable whilst application. With the tip, you can draw even the thinnest possible line on the eye lids and also increase the thickness as you want. The application is the best feature of the product.

The shade is jet black with a great intensity. The liner has a liquid texture but very comfortable on eyes. It settles on with a semi matte finish and looks quite a beauty. The formula is not drying at all and neither does it form flakes or wears off with time. The pigmentation is class apart as single swipe is enough to give you proper intensity of color without dragging on the eyelids over and over again.
One of the greatest shortcoming of the product is that it is not waterproof at all. A splash of water on the face is enough for it to seep down and therefore it becomes hard to wear during rainy season. The staying power is around 5-6hours without any smudging or fading even on my oily eyelids. It comes off easily with any eye makeup remover without creating much fuss about it.

Overall Rating:

Recommendation:
The liner must be given a try for its great quality that provides although the washable factor might be a turn off for many. For this price, it is a great buy although I feel Maybelline can do better.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.
