REVIEW: Studio West Maya Radiance Blush in Plum Shine

REVIEW: Studio West Maya Radiance Blush in Plum Shine

With the festive and the wedding season just around the corner, it seemed appropriate for me to start the series of reviewing Studio West products with this blush. If you are wondering about what Studio West is all about, then I'd suggest you to go through THIS POST of mine :)

Studio West has come up with two lines of makeup products; Pure Passion and Maya. Pure Passion being the "everyday" line while Maya is aimed more towards our Indian festivals and the glittery looks we tend to go for during these times. Studio West Maya Radiance Blush is one such product. It is a gorgeous Plummy-Terracotta-ish blush with very fine shimmer. However, with the whole strobing, highlighting trend going on globally this blush need not only be kept for "special" occasions. I have been using it everyday for work since the past week :)

Price of Studio West Maya Radiance Blush

It costs INR 425/-

Texture wise, the blush is smooth and applies very smoothly. Pigmentation wise it is a little wanting but on the flip-side that works really well for beginners as it is buildable and reduces the scope of making mistakes. Additionally, it does not contain any chunky glitter or shimmer particles. Instead it provides a beautiful sheen.

The feature that makes this blush stand out though is the fact that it stays on for the whole day without even fading. I am very impressed with its staying power and I find myself reaching out to this blush everyday when I get ready for work.

Coming to the shade itself, Plum Shine is a gorgeous shade that would look beautiful on *all* Indian skintones, be it light, medium or dark.

Overall Rating:

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In NC42

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.
