REVIEW: Sleek Makeup Pout Polish in Electro Peach

ISLM Writer: Sanchita

Sleek is one brand that makes me go bankrupt, literally! From eyeshadows to lipsticks – their quality is beyond great. This time I picked up few lip polishes for the winters. These pout relishes are extremely hydrated and nourishing for the lips and enriches the pout for the perfect chic look. So, let’s dig into the details of the pout polish in Electro Peach.

About Sleek Makeup Pout Polish SPF 15 Electro Peach 946: (WEBSITE CLAIMS)

The Pout Polish adds a subtle, long-lasting flush onto your lips while moisturizing and protecting them.

Benefits:
  1. High pigmentation for polish to last all day.
  2. Contains jojoba, avocado and sweet almond oil to moisturize and soften lips.
  3. SPF 15 protection.
  4. Colored balm that leaves a subtle sheen on your lips.

Price of Sleek Makeup Pout Polish

INR 666/- for 10 gms/0.34 oz

What I Think About Sleek Makeup Pout Polish

The pout polish comes in a small round pot with a sleek flat screw cap. The product is extremely light weight to carry around and easily slips into the bag. Although it is travel friendly but the tub packaging is slightly unhygienic, as you have to dip your fingers every time or use a lip brush.
The shade is a bright orange with peach undertones. It instantly brightens up my face and can be easily paired with a simple cat or winged eyeliner. The shade would mostly suit fair to medium complexion. The product has a smell of sweet caramel but doesn’t hurt the nose at all.

The texture is of a creamy lip gloss that doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on the lips. It is extremely glossy and you can pair it up with any peach or orange lip color underneath. It has jojoba, avocado and sweet almond oil that hydrates the lip throughout the day even when the product fades off. It also offers relief to the dry chapped lips and condition them thoroughly and contains SPF 15 for sun protection.

The pigmentation is translucent as it has been mentioned in the claims. You can even wear it like a lip gloss to get a fading glossy tint on the lips. The staying power is 1-2hrs on my lips and it happily survives the light snacks and drinks. You might want to do the touch up after a heavy meal.
The quality is phenomenal if you compare the price along with it. Although the availability is a big turn off but if you can manage to get this, definitely give it a try.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal

Changes in my Skincare and Fitness Perspective Post 30

Changes in my Skincare and Fitness Perspective Post 30 #Adulting One early morning while I was sipping an exceptionally strong cup of coffee and introspecting I identified a few lifestyle changes that I had incorporated in the past year or so. On further retrospection I realised that these changes were a part of what I perceived would be good for me in the long run... When did I start thinking about my health in the future? When did I start worrying about how my skin would be 10 years down the line? OMG was I #Adulting? Is this even the correct usage of the latest hashtag?

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener  Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work... Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
