LOTD: Soft Daytime Makeup Look
Saturday is my favorite day of the week... It has the freshness of the start of a weekend and also has the promise of another day after it before the rigmarole of the new week starts... Saturday is when I take a leisurely bath, wear makeup to my heart's content and get ready for a relaxing, aimless day...
So this Saturday I headed out to run some errands and indulge in some much needed FabIndia Shopping... Shopping at FabIndia is therapeutic for me... It relaxes me, leaves me in awe of Indian handicrafts (all over again) and has a calming effect on me... To match the mood I did a soft glowy makeup look that was aimed at making me look youthful and give me an air of effortless flawlessness...
Makeup Breakup for a Soft Daytime Makeup Look:
1. I kept the base very light and only applied L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique Transforming powder to keep myself shine free and to hide blemishes and imperfections2. I added a little glow to my face by swiping a highlighter on the bridge of my nose and on my cheekbones. The highlighter I used was Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Bronze.
3. I filled in my brows using The Face Shop Design My Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Grey.
4. For my eyes I used MAC Folie eyeshadow to lightly deepen my crease and then applied MAC Rice Paper eyeshadow on my lids as well as on my brow bone.
5. I used Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Push Up Liner in Black to line my eyes and give a slight wing
6. Then I used Rimmel Lodon Scandal Eyes Volume Flash Mascara on my top as well as my bottom lashes.
7. I finished off the look with a nude lip gloss. The one I used is Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Super Natural.
I hope you liked the look :)
