LOTD - Makeup Inspired by the Women of Bedouin Tribes |
From Around The World: LOTD Inspired by Mysterious Bedouin Women
I am a bookworm... I love reading... Reading I feel is a way of traveling the world without leaving the warmth of your bed or the coziness of your favorite couch... From Appalachia to the land of Genghis Khan, from the deserts roamed by the Bedouin Tribes to the streets of Tokyo when studded with Geishas, books have not only helped me travel the world but also time and hence it shouldn't come as a surprise that I have an imagination fueled by what I have read...
One such figment of my imagination or rather an illustration of my imagination is the mystery I feel revolving the women of Bedouin Tribes... This mystery has led me to look at them with awe and revere them for their exoticism...
Hence, I created this makeup look inspired by the Beautiful and the Mysterious Bedouin Women...
As is evident, my main focus is on the eyes with a tanned complexion and nude lips.
For the eyes I have used a lot of kohl and black eye shadow to give a smokey effect. However, I have kept the blending a little coarse to give a "rough" look.
For my complexion, I have used a foundation darker than my natural shade to look tanned.
Do let me know what you think of the look and if you would me to do such looks that are a figment of my imagination :)
Gorgeous!!
