Review of Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Push Up Liner in Black

I am forever looking out for eyeliners and kajals that are not only crease and smudge proof but also the blackest of black... It's probably an Indian thing but I cannot live without lining my eyes black... Many of us can't now can we? ;) It is after all the first makeup product that we start using, be it in school or in college :)

So when beauty bloggers and vloggers the world over were all talking about the Benefit Cosmetics Push up Eye Liner, I waited with bated breath to hear about the reviews... Unfortunately the reviews were mixed... Some loved it and some didn't and I eventually forgot all about it...

But last month when I visited #Sephora, I couldn't help but get drawn to the Benefit aisle... And well I bought the baby and brought it back home with me...

Price of Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Push Up Eye Liner

It costs a whopping INR 1950/-

The Benefit Cosmetics Push Up Eye Liner is a gel liner with some out-of-this-world pigmentation. One stroke is enough to deposit an opaque stroke of color that is highly pigmented. It is smudge-proof, crease-proof, transfer-proof and waterproof! Literally... It just doesn't budge...
It is also soap proof and hence even if you wash your face the liner doesn't come off. It has to be removed with a Makeup Remover...
Some may find this to be a pain in the ass but I simply love that in an eyeliner :)

The tip of this Push-Up liner is slanted and is made up of very flexible rubber and the gel liner dispenses out in a "slanted line" instead of a "point" if it makes any sense!
The liner dries up really quick, is very pigmented and then does not rub or smudge off.
The gel liner does not burn the eyes and is waterline safe.

If you are comfortable with using angled brushes for lining your eyes you'll then love this. If you aren't like me then you'll need some time to get used to this. But it makes winging your liner a breeze...

Overall Rating:

If you are ok with shelling out almost 2k for an eye liner then The Benefit Cosmetics PushUp Liner will not let you down for sure!

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
