REVIEW: Bobbi Brown Smokey Eyes Mascara

Every once in a while one comes about a product that blows your mind away and you are left wondering how the hell you'd been living without it! It happens... Not very often but it does!

So let me just spoil the surprise and tell you all that the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eyes Mascara is one of those products.

The Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara comes in a matte aluminum grey tube with black lettering... The mascara wand is long and the brush looks like a "normal" brush, nothing fancy. So much so that when I first opened the mascara and drew out the wand, I was like "Oh God! Not another useless over expensive mascara, please!"

However, things took an interesting turn when I first used the mascara... I got a feeling of *deja vu*... Because it was the same experience I had with the Ellis Faas Mascara as well. This Bobbi Brown Smokey Eyes Mascara too was amazing, it was curling, thickening, lengthening and volumizing all at once, as if it was even possible...

Review of Bobbi Brown Smokey Eyes Mascara

Price of Bobbi Brown Smokey Eyes Mascara

It costs INR 1690/-

The mascara is water resistant but isn't waterproof and comes off easily with soap and water. I wear it to the gym and the mascara is sweat-proof (thank the Lord!), gives a gorgeous curl and holds the curl for more than 8 hours.

Trick To Using Bobbi Brown Mascaras

All Bobbi Brown mascaras have a trick that makes them work really well for you. Before you start applying the mascara, hold the mascara vertical and try coating your strands with mascara and then turn the wand horizontally and apply as usual.
This will give you a beautiful curl as well as volumize your lashes. This sadly doesn't work for other mascaras except Rimmel London ones!

Overall Rating:
10/10

Recommendation:
This is one of the best mascaras I have used and if you have a budget of more that INR 1000/- then you must get this mascara for sure!

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.
