L'Oreal Paris Cannes Film Festival 2015 Makeup - Marvellous Matte Vs Glamorous Glossy!

L'Oreal Paris Cannes Film Festival 2015 Makeup - Marvelous Matte Vs Glamorous Glossy!

So you all know that the Cannes Film Festival 2015 is on and if you've not been living under a rock then you'll know that Katrina Kaif made a debut this year on the Red Carpet in Cannes... My Instagram feed and Facebook wall are swarming with pictures of outfits worn by Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif and of course their makeup... Am sure yours is too :)

You do know what this means right?

Yup! It is that time of the year when L'Oreal Paris collaborates with us beauty bloggers and we get to play with the Cannes Festival Makeup range and create makeup looks, one after the other :)

This year however I think L'Oreal Paris has really upped its game with some glorious shades, fabulous formula and some serious bling-ey packaging replete with Swarovski Crystals!

I am so excited to unveil the L'Oreal Paris Cannes Film Festival 2015 Makeup Collection to you all...

VIDEO: L'Oreal Paris Cannes Film Festival 2015 Makeup Collection

The products are:

1. L'Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipsticks - Glamor Fuchsia, Arabian Night, CherryCrush

Price: INR 899 and INR 1099 (for the Swarovski Studded Lipsticks)

The Moist Matte range of lipsticks is one of my favorite ranges from L'Oreal Paris as they glide on very smoothly on the lips without tugging and then dry up to be a matte finish on the lips resulting in some serious long staying power!
The shades Arabian Night and Cherry Crush some in swanky Swarovski Crystal studded cases and look fabulous!

2. L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks - Plum Quartet, Rose Symphony, Coral Encore

Price: INR 950/-

If you are more into glossy and juicy looking lips then L'Oreal Paris has these gorgeous Color Riche Extraordinaire Liiquid Lipsticks for you. With some seriously classy packaging and a very easy to use angled doe-foot  applicator you are sure to fall in love with these!
They apply like a gloss and then over time dry up into a very pigmented stain.

3. L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Gel Intenza - Diamond Black, Royal Blue, Sapphire Blue

Price: INR 875/-

This is a new product that L'Oreal Paris has come up with this year and I already think that is going to get some real love from everybody! It is by far the best Gel Liner I have used from the drugstore and well is as good as my MAC Fluidline. They are smudgeproof and waterproof, do not crease and stays for more than 10 hours easily on my oily lids!

Theme: Marvelous Matte Vs Glamorous Gloss

The theme this year is Matte Vs Gloss and L'Oreal Paris has roped in Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif respectively to endorse the looks respectively.
I just could not be tied down to either Matte or Gloss and hence I have done some looks for both...

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
