REVIEW: The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil

I picked up this product on a whim... I just saw that it was on a 50% discount, was well within its expiry date and that it was for 'First Signs of Aging'... These 3 features and I brought this baby home...

The first night I used it as a normal face wash... You know splashed water on my face, squeezed some product out, rubbed it on my face and washed my face with water... Of course nothing happened... It didn't remove makeup from my face one bit and needless to say I was highly disappointed... Afterall the product claims to remove every last bit of makeup and impurities from your face...

Then I did some research (aka Google Search) and found the right way to use it... And when I was steered to the right direction, I am now hands-down addicted to it... Move away makeup removers, move away face washes cause The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil is both in one :)

Price of TBS Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil

It costs INR 1495/-

How To Use The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil?

Squeeze some product out, rub it in your palms and apply on dry face (with makeup et al)... Massage your face in circular motions letting the gel convert to oil and then wash off your face with water. I prefer using a face sponge to wipe off first and then splash water on my face.

Here's a little video to demonstrate the same...

While massaging the product on your face it gets pretty oily but surprisingly enough when washed off with water there is no residual oiliness left on your face. It would suit 'All Skin Types'.

Overall Rating:

I am obsessed with the product and would urge everyone to try it out.

  1. The tried the youth drops or serum samples recently and liked it so much.. this one sounds great.. thanks for sharing the review :) xx

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
