REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick in Rouge Allegro

I firmly believe that gorgeousness comes in all shapes and sizes, in all finishes and textures and in all colours and sizes... This holds true for everything... From lipsticks to eyeshadows to shoes to clothes to accessories to living room couches to tea cups to lamp shades to phone covers to kitchenware... You get the drift... Don't you ;)

So today I am here with a review of a gorgeous pink lip gloss from L'Oreal Paris...
I am talking about the L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick in Rouge Allegro...

The first thing you notice about this little beauty is the classy and expensive looking golden packaging... L'Oreal Paris is surely coming up with some amazingly beautiful packaging off late...
This little gem is called a liquid lipstick but make no mistake it is in a reality a highly pigmented gloss...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks:

They cost INR 950/-

They smell exactly like the L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Colors... Rosy and not too sweet... Pretty refreshing actually...

The shade Rouge Allegro is a delightful pink shade that looks insanely beautiful as gloss that stays for almost 4 hours on your lips and then starts fading into another beautiful shade of a stain...
The gloss feels very light and is not sticky.

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks comes with a short doe-foot applicator that is very easy to apply the gloss with.
I am trying to think of a con of the product but I seriously cannot find one except for the fact that they are pretty expensive at 950/- a pop!

P.S. As far as I know, these glosses haven't been launched yet. They are as of now only available on Nykaa, com. They will launch in the market by mid-Feb this year...

Overall Rating:
10/10

Recommendation:
It is a delightful range with some really beautiful shades. You must at least own a couple of glosses from this range :)

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
