REVIEW: Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Super Natural

REVIEW: Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Super Natural

As my Winter break comes to an end and Monday morning dawns, I sit at my desk at work and procrastinate... Then I Procrastinate a little bit more, get myself a cup of steaming hot cappuccino and continue with my procrastination... Well yeah... I really don't want to do anything but what keeps me on my toes (at least figuratively) is the fact that I really need to get a lot of work completed today...

Monday Blues are nothing when i think of my vacation hangover!

So... Coming back to reality, tell me my lovely beauties, how was your Christmas week? What did you guys do? Are you all geared up for the New Year? Planned on the parties you plan to attend? I for one have no concrete plans as such but I am sure the pati will think of something at the last moment and I'd be swept off into a frenzied whirlwind of socializing... I secretly wish for a quiet, cozy evening at home, tucked in with a book and a huge Pepperoni pizza!

Anyways... Let me come back to what this post really is meant to be and well ladies and gentlemen, probably my last product review of the year 2014 is going to be of a product that has been my favorite and a go-to lip gloss since the past month... Its a beautiful nude, glossy shade by Revlon from the Super Lustrous Lip Gloss range in the shade Super Natural!

Price of Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss

It costs INR 480/-

This shade seems to be out of stock everywhere in Pune and trust me I have checked almost everywhere... I for one am glad that I got this shade from Kunchals, Delhi while I was browsing through stuff at the GK1, M-Block market...

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Super Natural is a murky, milky nude shade that gives a beautiful neutral/nude gloss to the lips without looks OTT or unnatural. It has absolutely no shimmer particles and is the perfect MLBB shade. texture wise is does not feel heavy or sticky... Its a perfect feel gloss and stays on for pretty much, a long time! Without meals it stayed on me for almost 4-5 hours...

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Super Natural - Swatch in Shade

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Super Natural - Swatch in the Sun

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Glosses come with a doe-foot applicator that I find very convenient to use for a precise application. It has a vanilla milk-ish smell and no doubt its yummy... The fragrance however disappears within seconds of application.

Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful shade and one that would suit all skin tones... Its affordable, brightens up one's whole face and is a must have!

  1. Love the nude colour. Gives a lovely "polished" look. And your skin is so enviable!!!

    1. Awww thanks doll ♥
And yup completely agree about the 'polished' look that you mention...

  2. Love Revlon lip glosses, I have couple of them and like them a lot, this shade is a good MLBB one

    1. This is my first Revlon Lip Gloss and you are right, its amazing... I really think I should get them in more shades...

  3. Not a fan of the shade, but this gloss range is really good. Looks good on you, loved your eye makeup :)

    1. Ah! you prefer brighter shades is it? :) Do you have other shades in this range? Any recommendations?
And thank you so much for all the nice nice you've said about me ♥

  4. Super pretty shade...everyone should have a natural gloss in their kits :)

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
