REVIEW: The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream

As I sit at my desk typing out this post, I am mentally also making a list of things I need to get myself on my next Grocery Shopping trip... And the only thing that is continuously popping ting into my head is this yummy tasting bits of mango jelly (aam papad) rolled in sweet and sour anaar-daana powder... Raise hands if you love it as much as I do :)

So, coming back to the point of discussion here, the smoothing eye cream, I got this eye cream cause I had started noticing fine lines around my eyes and it scared me! I was earlier using The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream and since it turned out to be a dud, I turned towards this...

Price of The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream

It costs INR 1695/-

Now, I don't know how much is an eye cream supposed to work but where I am concerned, an eye cream is a keeper if it visibly reduces fine lines from around the eyes and on this account this eye cream from TBS also fails...

Texture wise its light and creamy. The cream doesn't get absorbed instantly and one needs to massage it for a while longer for it to be completely absorbed. It doesn't cause any burning or rashes or any such negative side effects.

Recommendation:
I wouldn't quite recommend this eye cream since it did not really work for me.

Comments

  2. TBS eye creams are such a disappointment :( I am currently trying out the just herbs under eye gel, have to wait and see whether it has any effects

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
