REVIEW: Maybelline Diamond Glow Eye Shadow Quad in Wine Pink

REVIEW: Maybelline Diamond Glow Eye Shadow Quad in Wine Pink

So... I am 7 kilos overweight and I have a wedding to attend in 5 days flat... Any tips to lose weight ladies? Anything? Anything at all? Come on, help a sister out here ok? :)

So... Like I said I have a wedding to attend in a week's time and I am totally psyched about it cause I have as usual nothing to wear and I am still rummaging through my various boxes, trunks and suitcases and trying to salvage some decent outfits that would match the glittery pomp of North Indian weddings...

As I do that, I have my mind at rest about one thing at least! Yup! Makeup! I know I have my makeup all sorted and there is simply nothing more I need... I have for the first time everything I need where makeup is concerned and that you have no idea is a huge relief! :)

So... One eye shadow palette that I plan to carry with me to the capital for sure is this pretty pink Maybelling Diamond Glow Eye Shadow Quad in Wine Pink... Its shimmery, pink and tiny enough to fit in a clutch... You cannot really say no to that now, can you?

Price of Maybelline Diamond Glow Eye Shadow Quads

They cost INR 425/-

That said this quad has some really pretty shades of pink, that apply very smoothly, do not cause fall-out and are not at all chalky... A bonus is they stay on for pretty long on primed eyes... One issue that I have with this is that they tend to crease a little under heavy lights... However, proper priming of the eyelids can keep that problem at bay...

If you love pinks and are looking for a shimmery eyeshadows in a budget, then Maybelline Doamond Glow Eye Shadow Quad in Wine Pink will be a great pick for you!

Overall Rating:

  1. Thats Pretty... I hv the golden quad from same range... N I simply love it... With the super easy instructions to follow it is a great companion for a novice like me...

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…
