REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush in Fuchsia Flush

It's been a while I actually sat down and did an actual review... I have been lazy long enough and still wanted to continue being so... But then the pictures that I clicked of the L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush came out so lovely, I couldn't hold myself back and so now I am sitting down to finally review it... That and the fact that it truly is a gorgeous blush...

L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush is one of a kind. Texture wise it is so smooth that it actually feels like a dream... It is so finely milled that it is impossible to know that it actually is a powder blush and the glow that it gives you is just out of this world... It literally looks like a light bulb (white CFL!) went on inside of you :)

Price of the L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush

It costs INR 850/-

I received the shade Fuchsia Floral from the brand and since that day I have only been thanking my stars for it... Receiving a product from the PR is almost like a gamble, you can be sent anything and in any shade. This time however, I hit jackpot with this. I love the blush to the core and I am seriously contemplating buying all the shades that are available!

The blush has 3 shades of pink, which are beautiful individually, but when mixed together give you an ethereal blush that can only be explained as magic, probably that's why the name... You can very well understand how much I loved it :)

The packaging is just simply gorgeous. Quality wise it is at par with a blush from any luxury brand. Texture wise I find it better that NARS blushes as well... Yes! Imagine!

The product itself is thankfully odorless and does not give you any reactions or allergies... They are easily available at all L'Oreal Paris counters.

Recommendation:
Everybody and everyone must must must get atleast one shade from this range of blushes. I promise you will not regret it :)

Overall Rating:
10/10

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
