REVIEW: The Body Shop Body Butter in Vineyard Peach
During one of my shopping sprees at the Delhi Sephora (Sephora Haul Post Here), I had picked up a mango flavoured body lotion and I distinctly remember my mum-in-law asking me incredulously as to what was my fascination with smelling like a fruit and other edibles :D She exclaimed that when they were younger, they wanted to smell like flowers...
Ha ha ha, we both had a hearty laugh over this and I did realise that my fascination with flavours like Vanilla, Cocoa Butter, Strawberry, Green Tea, Satsuma, Olives etc, (thanks to The Body Shop) all led people to believe my obsession to smell like some eatable! The Vineyard Peach range is by far the yummiest smelling of all fruit ranges that TBS has come up with. It smells fresh, fruity, refreshing and feminine... And its not even about how you smell to others, it is about how you smell to yourself :) And every morning while I settle down at my desk, booting up my laptop, sipping on a cup of green tea, I know I smell divine... And that is a huge mood booster!
The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter is one of the lighter body butters unlike the Olive Body Butter or the Brazil Nut Body Butter. It's perfect for sweltering summer months and humid rainy days... Its also perfect when a cold wind is blowing and all you feel like doing is curling up in an arm-chair wrapped up in a warm shawl with a cup of green tea and your favorite book...
As a body butter, it moisturises fabulously and smells of yummy peaches. What I really like about it is that the moisturising effect stays on for really long and the delectable fragrance stays on for even longer. Needless to say, it doesn't cause any reactions and a single tub goes on for almost 2.5 months of regular usage!
