REVIEW: Kryolan Professional Lipstick in LC 195

Review of Kryolan Professional Lipstick in LC 195

My trips to Bombay and Delhi are generally sprinkled with tiny bouts of shopping, mostly makeup shopping and even though we get almost all brands in Pune, what we still miss here is Bobbi Brown, Sephora and well Kryolan. Now Bobbi Brown and Sephora are my occasional haunts but Kryolan with its great quality and even better pricing is something that I always make a point of visiting every time I am in either Bombay or Delhi...

On one such trip (Haul Post HERE), I picked up a delightful lip color from the Kryolan Professional lipstick range in the shade LC 195.

It is a beautiful neutral shade somewhere between a brown and a pink. Surprisingly t doesn't wash me out (like Mehr or Cosmo), rather it enhances my complexion and makes my skin look brighter and healthier.

Price of Kryolan Professional Lipstick:

They cost INR 300/-

Texture wise Kryolan Professional Lipsticks are thick and creamy and give an opaque coverage. They don't have a glossy finish and neither are they matte dry. They are somewhere in between...
As far as their staying power is concerned, these beauties from Kryolan give an impressive performance and stay on for almost 5 hours.

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.
