BUDGET WEDNESDAYS: Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk

Review of Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk

Guest Post By: Pallavi

Cleansing is a very important part of skin care regimen.  We are cursed with a routine where we have to rush as soon as we open our eyes. We load our face and body with makeup and the skin has to bear the makeup burden throughout the day. But at night before saying good night, the skin also needs to feel loose and relieved. So, we need to wipe out the makeup and help the skin to finally breathe free. It is always said that the biggest mistake you make to your skin is sleeping with makeup on. So, that's where the significance of cleansing comes in.

Today, I am reviewing one of the oldest and trusted cleansing tool - Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk. My mother is more of a skincare enthusiast than me and this is her gift to me. I have seen her using this every night and so I follow her.

Let's see how and why it has become India's most trusted cleansing milk.

What company claims-
Ayur’s Deep Cleansing milk is a natural herbal cleanser which gently lifts away make up, dirt and other impurities leaving the skin feeling soft, clean and healthy.
Apply with cotton wool or tissue on face and neck with upward and outward movements. To close the pores use Ayer’s astringents for best results.

Price of Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk

Rs.110 for 500 ml.

My views-
The cleansing milk comes in  medium sized white transparent bottle with blue flip flop cap. The cap has a tiny hole which controls the amount of product dispensed. The transparent bottle enables us to see the product that is left. So, girls you can stock this one. Medium sized bottle makes it easy to carry but sadly when pressure is applied the product oozes out making the opening messy. So, traveling with this cleansing milk is not a good idea.

The product is thick and creamy and is white in color with a mild fragrance. I use it daily before hitting the bed on dry skin. I first sanitize my hands and then apply it on my dry face. If u apply more product you will end up with a sticky feeling which I really hate. So, you need to be careful with the amount used. After applying I leave the product on my face and neck for 15 minutes and then clean it thoroghly with regular cotton. You don't need to be rough on your skin while using cotton. After cleaning with cotton, check cotton for the dirt on your skin, then rinse your face and neck generously with water and finally pat dry. With regular usage you will find your skin feeling clean and supple.  I literally can feel my skin breathing.

Moreover, it works as a superb cleanser.  It cleanses out my kohl, foundation, lipstick quite effectively. With regular usage this lasts me a month easily. Now, what more can you expect at this price.

PROS
1. Wider available
2. Affordable
3. Mild fragrance
4. Effectively cleanses out the makeup
5. skin feels and looks clean post application
6. All natural ingredients

CONS
1. Messy packaging
2. Contains PARABENS

Overall Rating
9/10

Will I re-purchase?
I have  been re-purchasing since my first bottle.

Will I reccommend?
Yes, it's a very mild cleansing milk. So, go ahead with it ladies. I haven't heard anybody having any breakouts or skin issues with it.

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal

I was planning on starting this post with a quote on health and all that jazz but then I realized you are here reading this post not cause you want to see my writing style but are here cause you actually want to read the contents :) So I will start without much intro but a little disclaimer before that ;) Disclaimer I am not a doctor or a nutritionist or even a dietitian. I have found out from experience what works for me and I am sharing it with you guys. You are to find out what is right for you and make your own permutations and combination to this regimen of mine depending on your target weight, your lifestyle and all :) Before I start there are a couple of points we need to keep in mind: 1. In order to lose weight one needs to burn more calories than you take in. 2. The human body takes about only 1200 calories to do the routine functions of respiration, digestion etc. 3. Just because you are not taking 3 full meals a day does not mean that you are starving yourself or ar

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener  Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work... Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
