REVIEW of Maybelline Colorshow Nail Polish in Tenacious Teal

Guest Post By: Pallavi

Ladies...I have to declare that this is my most favourite shade of this range. I have never been a green girl. I don’t like green color. I don’t have any dresses in green nor even accessories. But this color changed all the old myths. Now, it’s a wrong notion that I and green are no more friends. Green has forgiven me and it look equally chic on me as it does on others. So, no partiality.

Here I would like to review my new love Tenacious Teal –
Product Description: Stay right on trend from your tips to your toes with new Maybelline Color Show. Our gel based formula with color popping pigments, comes in 40 bold, super stylish shades that look great on nails. So go on, mix, match and make the most of color.

Price of Maybelline ColorShow Nail Paint

INR 75 (6 Ml.)

My Views:
Maybelline you have scored in terms of packaging. Medium sized thick bottle which stays as it is even when it is dropped. Perfect for travels. Easily fits into purse and when the cap is tightly closed there are no chances of product spillage.

Now, coming to the color it is really less. How much I praise it will be less in honour of this beauty. The color is dirty green. It reminds of those dirty seas which are silent but has loads going on within. Same is with this color. It is a plain green which settles into matte finish. But looks lovely with Indian as well as western wears.

The brush quality of this nail paints is also quite thoughtful. The brush gives the most amazing finish. Single swipe covers entire nails and the color is quite pigmented. With first application you can easily see the color and then you know this color is going to do wonders.
The color stayed on me for 5-6 days with slight chirping. So, wear it on your nails put your best foot forward and flaunt for a week.

Pros-
1.    Available in every nook and corner
2.    Easy on pocket
3.    Color unusual yet beautiful
4.    With single swipe color is evident
5.    Brush quality superb
6.    Dries soon
7.    Stays easily for a week

Cons-
None

Would I re-purchase?
Yes now me and green (This shade) are inseparable.

Would I Recommend?
Yes...wipe those conventional colors. Empty your table with those oldie colors and grab these unconventional beauties. This shade is a must try. Trust me

Rating – 10/10

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

10 Best Loose Powders Available in India

10 Best Loose Powders Available in IndiaISLM Writer: Sanchita

Summer is going to knock on the door soon and we, who are blessed (or cursed) with oily skin, will crawl back to our powders and/or matte foundations to keep the skin oil-free as far as possible. Being oily skinned, I have always found my way back to loose powders even though their packaging is slightly messy. This is because loose or translucent powders are more finely milled than the compact versions and hence gives you an even look rather than a made-up cakey one. Compact has the tendency to look rough under eyes or around the mouth whereas loose powders work excellently. No wonder, oily skin stays matte for longer duration than it does with the compact ones. Mostly, it gives sheer to buildable coverage and sits on the skin like a natural finish look.
