Review of Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer
For those who didn't know, concealers are of two types... One that actually conceal that are thick in consistency and are used to conceal dark spots, acne marks and the like and the other type that act more like highlighters while concealing only lightly. The latter type generally have a runny consistency and have some shimmer particles that act as highlighters.
Maybelline's Dream Lumi Touch Concealer is a highlighting concealer and it does exactly what it is supposed to. It lightly conceals, greatly highlights and makes your face look instantly brighter.
Price of Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer
It costs INR 475/-Texture wise Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch concealer is smooth and pretty easy to blend. All the shades have pink undertones instead of yellow but for my under eye area I am not complaining.
The concealer comes with a synthetic brush instead of having a doe-foot applicator. I am personally not a fan of these brush applicators as I feel they are a little unhygienic and trap product leading to a lot of wastage.
One issue I have of this product is that it tends to settle into my fine lines and make them look a little aggravated. Apart from that I don't really have any complains of this product.
Recommendation
If you don't have very severe under eye circles and are looking for a light concealer with highlighting properties then you must give this a shot.
I tried this one, and for me, it did more than lightly conceal. It is actually the first concealer to have properly worked on concealing my under eye darkness, EVER!
ReplyDeleteI hate the brush type applicator too. It is more messy, unhygienic and like you said, traps product and hence causes wastage.
if it worked for you as a traditional concealer then you are one lucky woman Fathima :) and yup I sooo agree with you about the brush applicators :/
DeleteI guess I am. I just used it by patting it on, and applied a translucent powder on top, and I was SET!!

DeleteI was eagerly waiting for this review since I saw this product in your haul picture. I have a medium wheatish complexion with slightly dark under eyes, which shade of this concealer I should try? I've heard that the choice of shades are very limited.
