NOTD: Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Paint in All That Glitters

Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania - All That Glitters

Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Paint in All That Glitters

Maybelline had struck jackpot when it launched its Color Show range of nail enamels... Bright hues, quick drying, pretty packaging and extremely comfortable to the pocket were some features that made Maybelline Color Show Nail Enamels a huge hit with everyone... We were all bust getting ourselves gorgeous shades after shades and filling up our vanity drawers when Maybelline shocked us (pleasantly) once again... With Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Enamels...

First in the Indian market, Indian women were hankering for nail enamels that gave opaquely, glitter finishes to their nails and apart from some very expensive Sally Hansen and OPI counterparts we didn't have much of an option. But then entered Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Enamels and we were all smitten...

Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania - All That Glitters

My today's shade is Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania in All That Glitters. It is a pale golden shimmery nail enamel that gives an opaque finish in just one coat. I have however applied 2 coats for that extremely intensely look...

Their staying power is just amazing! They stayed on my nails for 5 long days without chipping and I think they would have remained so if I hadn't removed it to try another shade...
As far as removing these nail polishes is concerned, they are a little cumbersome as compared to the non-glitter counterparts. However, they are easier to remove as compared to the Sally Hansen Gem Crush Nail Paints.

So have you tried these little gems? Whats your take on them?
P.S. Product sent by PR for consideration. However, my review is honest and is in no way biased.

  1. I bought this but dropped it from the first floor the very first day! :'(
But it looks gorgeous on you!

  2. Wow! This does look amazing. It's beautiful! <3

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
