VIDEO TUTORIAL: Simple & Easy Makeup for Work

Simple & Easy Makeup for Work - A Video Tutorial

Makeup for Work need not always be dull, drab or boring... And no I am not asking you to get out of your comfort zones and experiment with Reds and Fuschias at your (if conservative) workplace. What I am saying is using neutral shades like MAC Patina, MAC Cork and L'Oreal Caresse Shine Lipstick in Pretty Woman can be used for a well turned out and understated glamorous look...

And I have a video tutorial for it, for you guys :)

I have kept the whole look fairly simple and yet when you look at the whole picture together, it comes out to be anything but :)

I have kept the base light by using a BB Cream and used neutral eyeshadow shades like MAC Patina and MAC Cork. For the lips I have used another neutral and a universally flattering blush, Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Creamy Cinnamon and finally used a beautiful brown lip product from L'Oreal's Shine Caresse range called Pretty Woman :)

Products Used:
1. The Body Shop Vitamin E BB Cream
2. YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch
3. Kryolan Translucent Powder
4. Konad Eyebrow pencil
5. Revlon Kohl
6. Tips & Toes D-Fine Water Resistant Liquid Eyeliner
7. Benefit They're Real Mascara
8. MAC Cork Eyeshadow
9. MAC Patina Eyeshadow
10. Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Creamy Cinnamon
11. L'Oreal Shine Caresse Lip Gloss in Pretty Woman

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018 Denim is forever. It's versatility makes it a classic and in the form of a jacket it not just looks dapper and en vogue but is also comfortable and convenient... I love denim jackets because they are perfect for Pune's so called Winters and because they are the best accessories for any kind of outfit...

Going through some of the Fall Winter 2017-18 collections from the likes of Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney, denim on denim seemed to be the trend in boxy and boyish silhouettes. I am not a very big fan of denim and denim and hence I prefer to pair my boxy denim jacket with a flowy, floral dress that makes the look strike a balance between feminine and androgynous.
