Summer Favorite Pink & Coral Lipsticks

Favorite Pink Coral Lipsticks for Summers

Pink Lipsticks for Summers

I think, I nowadays, start almost all my posts with "Summers are here" and even though this particular post was destined to start in a similar tone, I decided to deliberately steer clear of the jaded phrase and say something different and so I restart my post...

Summers make me subconsciously reach out to pink and coral lipsticks and so I decided to make a post out of it and list out my favorite Pink & Coral lipsticks this Summer :)
And you know what would be a little more fun? You guys telling me about your favorites too... I'd love to know :)

So before I begin, tell me, do you guys think I have started leaning more towards lippies and glosses than eye shadows? Its weird cause there was a time I used to adore eye shadows... Hmmmm... Well...

Anyways...

Coming back...

Here are my favorite Summer time pink and coral lip products:

1. MAC Lickable (Pink Lipstick)
A deep blue-toned pink with just a hint of shimmer... Bright and yet not neon-y, its a gorgeous shade that is guaranteed to look good on almost all skintones.

2. Maybelline 14 Hours Superstay in Eternal Rose (Pink Lipstick)
A superb matte magenta lipstick that easily stays on for more than 10 hours. Can tend to get a little drying but nothing that a little lip balm underneath cannot solve. A gorgeous bright pink shade should be a Summer favorite that I know would see me through the monsoons as well :)

3. L'Oreal GlamShine Balmy Gloss in Pomegranate Punch (Pink Gloss Stick)
This is my go-to lip product when I am in hurry. Easy to apply, great texture and beautiful color payoff makes it an easy favorite :)

4. Colorbar True Gloss in Vintage Rose (Pink Gloss + Stain)
This has been a favorite since the day I bought it. I have never seen a a more beautiful fuschia and the fact that it stays on for really really really long doesn't hurt either :)

5. Maybelline Colorsensational Lip Polish (Pink Lip Gloss)
Aha! A new favorite, I am hands down in love with this whole range because of the way these little wonders make my lips look so juicy and plump... A little sheer but settles into a pretty sheen on your lips within 3 seconds of application.

6. L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Pink Passion (Coral Lipstick)
This lipstick suits beauties with pale or fair skintone as well as those with medium to darkish skintones beautifully. It has a watery texture, has a pretty colour payout but doesn't stay on for very long.

7. L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick in Dating Coral (Coral Lipstick)
This lipstick is a sweet pinky coral that would especially suit light and medium skinned beauties.
Texture wise they are very light weight and extremely hydrating such that it actually feels like nothing on your lips.

8. Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Lip Gloss in Coral Sunset (Coral Lip Gloss + Stain)

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

10 Best Loose Powders Available in India

10 Best Loose Powders Available in IndiaISLM Writer: Sanchita

Summer is going to knock on the door soon and we, who are blessed (or cursed) with oily skin, will crawl back to our powders and/or matte foundations to keep the skin oil-free as far as possible. Being oily skinned, I have always found my way back to loose powders even though their packaging is slightly messy. This is because loose or translucent powders are more finely milled than the compact versions and hence gives you an even look rather than a made-up cakey one. Compact has the tendency to look rough under eyes or around the mouth whereas loose powders work excellently. No wonder, oily skin stays matte for longer duration than it does with the compact ones. Mostly, it gives sheer to buildable coverage and sits on the skin like a natural finish look.
