Review of Kryolan Blush in TC1

Guest Post By: Pranali

After hearing so much about Kryolan, I wanted to try their products. So I picked up a blush, craving for an orange Blush. And after possessing this one, I want to own them all.
There are so many colors ranging from Pale Pinks to Coral Pinks and Deep Red, for varied skin tones.

I tried two blushes at the store on each cheeks and stepped out. This Blush looked so natural in sunlight, and it added a warm glow to my cheeks.
There are so many things, I love about this blush. And I’ll reveal them all in The Goods.

The Packaging is sturdy, real sturdy with a transparent lid. Well it says Dry Rogue, well that definitely sounds elegant. The Blush has the Kryolan face engraved, which I want never to mess.
The Color is Milky Orange  when swatched, which looks actually Coral in the Pan.

Kryolan Blush TC1 Review

The Pigmentation is as good as a Baked Blush, intense and vivid. The Texture is not creamy, not powdery but something in between, finely milled. And comes the staying power, I’d say it depends on the base because when I wear this with BB cream underneath, it disappeared within in 4-5 hours.

But when I wore it under proper Primer-Foundation Face, it stayed up to 5 hours and then fades out with oiliness. ( I layered the blush twice for evening look ). Treat it like a Princess, It’ll make you look like a queen :P

Price of Kryolan Blush in TC1

INR 350/- for 2.5 grams.

The Goods of Kryolan Blush in TC1:
1) Pigmentation is definitely worth spending the money.
2) The staying power, with and without base is dependent.
3) The Texture is amazing, without any fall out.
4) Packaging is fine and is travel friendly.
5) The Color will flatter Fair to Medium Skintones but may not show up on Dusky skintones.

The Bad of Kryolan Blush in TC1:
1) Kryolan have Blush Palette of 6 shades for around 1000 INR, comparing both. A single Blush is not really cost efficient.
2) Availability. Kryolan products are not available online but only at Kryolan stores.

Recommendation
If you love orange/coral blushes with non-fussy texture and great staying power. Go get these blushes :) I’m going to grab a palette!

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.
