NOTD: Maybelline Colorshow Nail Polish in Fiesty Fuschia

Maybelline Colorshow Nail Polish in Fiesty Fuschia

Maybelline Colorshow Nail Polish in Fiesty Fuschia on my Nails!

Isn't it always so much fun to experiment with colors, to lose yourself in the rainbow of shades that we can see, to fancy any hue that is possible to create? Red on the lips, purple on the nails, Orange on your cheeks, Teal on your eyes, am sure most of you have done it all...

This brings me to the discussion about Nail Polishes and how nail paint shades have evolved over the years and through the generations. I distinctly remember my mum having a limited set of shades, mostly maroons, purples and chocolate browns. A little variation here and there and that's about the color palette that women, 3 decades ago were content with...

But times changed and today we are literally spoilt for choice. Visit an Inglot store or a Colorbar kiosk and you can honestly not choose just one shade. Almost every shade beckons to you to take it home and on invariably ends up picking up at least 2-3 nail polishes at one go, irrespective of the price tag.

But as many shades we have, one always tends to go back to that 1 color. It could be Red for some, beige for others, minty green, pink, mauve, pearly white and the list goes on. But honestly, don't we all always go back to that favorite shade of ours after having played with a couple of colors. For me at least its a cycle. I wear Red, then black, then I perhaps experiment with some shimmer and then I am without fail back to my trusted opaque Pink Nail Polish :)

My favorite nail polish till date have been from Colorbar and Faces. However, to join the elite group today is this pretty Pink nail polish from Maybelline. Maybelline Colorshow Nail Enamel in Fiesty Fuschia is a comfortably bright shade of pink that is opaque even in one coat and dries super fast. And when prices at INR 99/- you really overlook it.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In NC42

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.
