REVIEW & SWATCHES: L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipsticks

L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipsticks Review Swatches

Review of L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipsticks in Rock N Mauve and Dating Coral

Today has been a good day! I reached a logical conclusion to the tasks I have been assigned at work, I sweated like a pig in the gym, I got some much delayed Spring cleaning of the house done and finally I did NOT reach out to a pack of Cornitos. So all in all it was a good day :) But what is making it still better is that you guys have been really sweet in supporting my new accessories blog by liking my Facebook page :) Thank you so much people! ♥

And now, as I am typing away at this post, reviewing the L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipsticks, I cannot be help but go all out and gush about these yummy lipsticks.

The shade Rock 'N' Mauve is a pretty and sheer Purple that magically looks a little pink-y on my lips while Dating Coral is this sweet pinky coral that I suspect would suit light and medium skinned beauties especially.

L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipsticks are very light weight and extremely hydrating such that it actually feels like nothing on your lips. They have a gorgeous silky feel when applied and almost feel like melted butter on your lips. They are a little on the sheer side but are pretty build-able and hence beauties who have pigmented lips like mine do not need to fret :) Isn't that some good news.

They cost INR 499/-

Even though these lippies are very very hydrating, they stay on for a decent 3-4 hours and that I think is pretty good! They do not leave a stain behind and neither do they feel sticky. They smell like hard-boiled candy though and even though I am not much of a fan of that, the smell wears disappears in a second or two and hence its not a problem! :) Plus the packaging is so gorgeous! Siggghhhhh I shall buy some more shades in this range just so that they can make my dresser look pretty ;)

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

10 Best Loose Powders Available in India

10 Best Loose Powders Available in IndiaISLM Writer: Sanchita

Summer is going to knock on the door soon and we, who are blessed (or cursed) with oily skin, will crawl back to our powders and/or matte foundations to keep the skin oil-free as far as possible. Being oily skinned, I have always found my way back to loose powders even though their packaging is slightly messy. This is because loose or translucent powders are more finely milled than the compact versions and hence gives you an even look rather than a made-up cakey one. Compact has the tendency to look rough under eyes or around the mouth whereas loose powders work excellently. No wonder, oily skin stays matte for longer duration than it does with the compact ones. Mostly, it gives sheer to buildable coverage and sits on the skin like a natural finish look.
