Indian Wedding/Festive Makeup Look Using Lakme Tanjore Rush
Just the fact that I have 3 weddings to attend in the first quarter of 2014 is enough to put me in a tizzy and start hyperventilating about my outfits and makeup. And the fact that all three weddings are not in Pune and are rather in different parts of the country doesn't help either! Managing leaves, getting outfits ready and deciding on my makeup are just a few things that are topping my mental lists right now and hence don't be surprised about the slew of wedding party and festive makeup that I shall come up with in the next few weeks ;)
And what better way to inaugurate my brand new Lakme Eyeshadow Quartet in Tanjore Rush than doing a festive look?
Tanjore Rush is a gorgeous quartet with some rich shades in a very soft texture that are highly pigmented. So much so that many a times you may end up with a lot of fallout if you are not careful about dusting off excess product from your brush before you apply it. However, everything aside the shades in the quartet are just gloriously beautiful and there is so much that you can actually do by means of permuting and combining the 4 shades.
The look that I have done today consists of only 2 eyeshadows from the quartet, the golden and the plum pink shades. I have applied the plummy pink shade all over my lids and blended it out to prevent any harsh edges. I have used the golden shade in the inner corners of my eyes to add dimension and drama to the while look.
Here's the look and I hope you guys like it :)
