Whats Been Keping Me Busy?

HOI, Work and Family :)

If you have been following ISLM regularly, you would know that I haven't been updating it regularly :P Of course I have been wanting to but my life's been so insanely busy and my schedule's been so crazy off late that I have had no choice but to be on a self imposed exile from my blog...
But not anymore... Come Friday and my vacation starts... I so love working for an American organization just for the Winter vacations that we get to enjoy till the New Year ;)

So what has been keeping me busy, you ask... And my answer would be a myriad of things... Work-wise, my life's been crazy busy with early morning trainings, mid-day updates and late evening meetings (a con of working for an American org :/)... My workday literally has been starting at 6:00 am and ending at 8:00 pm...

And then there has been HOI. I wont really call it work as it is much more than that for me... But yes it does take up a lot of my time especially the shoots and uploading products... And now that everyone has been so supportive of us, we have been keeping really busy with packaging and shipping too... A BIG thank you to all of our patrons... Thank you so much guys!

And finally my last three weeks have been busy with my family visiting us in bits and pieces... First my sister came to stay with us and it is imperative that I have been totally wrapped up with my baby sister... And now that my parents are here all the way from Manipur, its exactly how it was before I was married :) I am lapping up every moment of it :D

So in short you guys will have to forgive me for being MIA but I promise to be back with a bang with loads and loads of product reviews and makeup tutorials :)

Till then I'll leave you all with some HOI photo shoot pictures :)

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018

How I Wear My Denim Jacket To Be In Trend for 2018 Denim is forever. It's versatility makes it a classic and in the form of a jacket it not just looks dapper and en vogue but is also comfortable and convenient... I love denim jackets because they are perfect for Pune's so called Winters and because they are the best accessories for any kind of outfit...

Going through some of the Fall Winter 2017-18 collections from the likes of Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney, denim on denim seemed to be the trend in boxy and boyish silhouettes. I am not a very big fan of denim and denim and hence I prefer to pair my boxy denim jacket with a flowy, floral dress that makes the look strike a balance between feminine and androgynous.
