Festive Diwali Look Made It To The Grunge Archives!
I just got back a couple of hours ago from an exciting trip from Bombay! Granted that Bombay trips are something that I always look forward to and it is afterall my current mayka, however, this time around, the trip to the metropolis was octaves higher in excitement and fun :) Let me tell you all what it was all about... It was a BeBeautiful and VLOGON workshop of sorts that was organized by Hindustan Unilever (you know the people behind Lakme, Pinds, Dove, Tresemme etc?). Well yeah they had invited 20 bloggers (fashion/beauty/lifestyle) from all over India for a workshop on how to make good videos and the likes that was facilitated by people from Google/YouTube, people from this big shot media production house and of course Clint Fernandez :)
What was so much more exciting was meeting up with co-bloggers... Hina, Jyoti and I travelled together from Pune, while Dolon landed from Kolkata and Ritu, Deeptima, Apurva, Taniya and Anamika came from Delhi... Meeting most of them for the first time was awesome and then since our rooms were all booked on the same floor, late night gossip sessions were inevitable ;)
So after getting tipsy, then sleeping late, hogging the sumptuous breakfast spread today morning (I am sure to have put on a kilo or so) and after a flat 2 hours journey on the expressway, I was back and pretty pumped to do a makeup look... But... What started out to be a pretty, Diwali inspired festive look, turned grunge and finally all wrong...
Here's the look...
My hair is so greasy, my skin looks tired and dull and well my eyes look like I haven't slept in a while :/
Gah! Lesson Learnt... No makeup looks when tired after a long journey :/
So, what do you think about the makeup?
