REVIEW: Bourjois Cendre De Brune Blush

Review of Bourjois Blush in Cendre De Brune

Guest Post By: Pranali

A Round domed baked blush enclosed in a fat round pot, with a tiny mirror above. If there were any words to describe this blush, I think cuteness will top the list.
I was in search of a Pink Bush that would suit Indian skintones. And I found this Dusty or Mauvish Pink Color. The Color is as Pink to Indian skintone as Bubblegum Pink is to white skin.
The Packaging is decent and travel friendly, though the brush and mirror is of no use. Baked Blushes are of high intensity and can be used wet and dry. And the best part about this blush is, it makes a wonderful cheek tint which looks as good as natural flush. For Richer Skintones, using wet  will add more intensity to the color, make it appropriate Pink for rich skintones. I went a little weird and applied it as a Lip tint as well, topped with salve. But it only adds tint to the lips, naturally.
There is little fall out when the brush frictionally touches the dome, but it blends effortlessly. And the result is No powdery look.

The staying power is not so great, 4 hours and it is done. But if used wet it is not more than 5 hours.
It has a baby powder fragrance to it, which is very pleasant. I have been using it for long, maybe a year or more. I am using it almost once a week, for natural looks, No makeup looks. And the shape of the dome is intact though a little flat.

Price of Bourjois Cendre De Brune Blush

INR 575/-, when I bought it back in 2012.

The Goods of Bourjois Cendre De Brune Blush

1) A Pink for Indian Skintone
2) No Powdery business. It totally adapt with the skin texture without looking powdery.
3) Packaging is a show, for all the flaunters.
4) Pleasant floral fragrance
5) Decent staying power of 4 hours.
6) Calculating its value, I think it is  amazing for the quality and quantity.

The Bad of Bourjois Cendre De Brune Blush

1) The provided brush is of no use for blush.
2) Availability across all Bourjois Counters.
3) The blush hardens with time. So it is necessary to scrape off the surface to reveal new layer.

Recommendations:
A Dusty Pink for Healthy Flush, for Indian Skintones. If you are looking for The Pink, seek no more. This will work wonders with Wheatish to Medium skintones.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal

Changes in my Skincare and Fitness Perspective Post 30

Changes in my Skincare and Fitness Perspective Post 30 #Adulting One early morning while I was sipping an exceptionally strong cup of coffee and introspecting I identified a few lifestyle changes that I had incorporated in the past year or so. On further retrospection I realised that these changes were a part of what I perceived would be good for me in the long run... When did I start thinking about my health in the future? When did I start worrying about how my skin would be 10 years down the line? OMG was I #Adulting? Is this even the correct usage of the latest hashtag?

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener  Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work... Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
