Multitasking With Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Fierce & Tangy

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Fierce & Tangy And Its Uses

Don't you just love it when a product can be used in multiple ways? It not only saves you money, it is really travel friendly and it is so much easier to search for one product rather than two when you are like me and your dresser is is the epitome of clutter...

So I was really excited when I discovered that the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Fierce and Tangy could be used in more ways than one and I just couldn't help sharing it with you all (You do know that I love you all so much!) :D
Well... So let me break the news to you all... The aforementioned Color Tattoo in Fierce & Tangy can not only be used as a cream shadow, it can also be used as a base for your eye shadows. Of course you already knew that, didn't you... So whats the big deal you say...

The big deal ladies and gentlemen is that the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Fierce & Tangy can also be used as a neutralizing concealer for dark circles... "What", you say and I repeat it... Yes! sweetheart, the orange creme shadow is superb as a concealer! It's orange tones, help neutralise the greyish-ness of dark circles and the little shimmer that it contains helps you highlight your under eye area...

How Do You Use Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Fierce & Tangy As An Under Eye Concealer?

Oh! Thats simple you know! No skill required... Seriously! Literally no skill required... Here are some steps to break the process down though:
  1. As usual wash and moisturise your face.
  2. Apply you face primer (optional)
  3. Taking a little bit of the color tattoo with the tips of your ring finger, dab the product under your eyes and inner corners and then blend it in a pat-pat motion.
  4. Apply you foundation as usual (optional)
  5. Apply your concealer
  6. Set it with powder

And Voila! You have been concealed :D

Here's a little before and after to make you believe in miracles!

If you have severe dark circles then I am not really sure if it'll work, but it works wonders on light dark circles.

Please note that this trick was not thought of by me but once a long time back when I was meeting with Zara and Parita, Parita had mentioned it to us... Yup I just recently tried it :P

  1. I have it and gonna try this trick too..!!
Parita shared it few days back ..and here you go!!
I am going to test it tomorrow.. hopefully it works for me too!! .. :) :)

    1. ha ha she did? aha! you try it too and see if it works for you too :) ♥

  2. Very good effect ;) I have base Essence ;)

I follow you beautiful blog. I hope you will follow me back and I will wait for you in my blog

  3. i think you can call it a corrector , not concealer, after using it, one should use a concealer over it, i use this too, as dark circle corrector

    1. Oh yes! Thats the term Taps... Corrector!
and yup one needs to use a concealer over it like I mentioned in the steps above :)

  4. Brilliant idea ! that's a great makeup tip. Will definitely try it dear. really thanks for sharing this with us.
    xoxo Shreya

  5. I love this for under eye wonders for heavy dark circles as well :) thanks for the mention dear :)

  6. Is it easy to blend? Heard that's a drawback..
    Superb post :)

    1. Ummm it is a little dry Swati... But if you moisturise your face well then blending isn't a problem. If it still then you may want to mix it with your concealer and blend :)

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.
