Review of Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick in Loved Up!

Guest Post By: Shabby

Sleek MakeUP is a brand I was really temped to try from a long time but as most international are out of reach from most of us, I also had to control my lust and had to forget about sleek products. But some days back I heard that sleek website is accepting Debit cards; I literally jumped with joy and tried to place an order but it failed. But then while playing with the site later on I added this lipstick and a blush and tried to purchase it- to my surprise the order got placed. And to my amazement it came within 4 days of dispatch! Isn't that great????

Well I am definitely trying out more Sleek. But now let’s see how I liked this lipstick.

Packaging:
The lipstick comes in a sleek matte packaging which gives sort of a velvety feel. It looks quite small in comparison but to be honest I loved the packaging. I really love matte black packaging over shiny plastic looking ones. This one looks elegant and has the 'Sleek MakeUp' written on it. The packaging is a sure winner for me. The shade name and a color coded sticker is there under the lipstick casing to help you find shades easier.

The shade of Sleek Loved Up is a bright blue based pink. I loved the color and it is surely an attention grabbing color. It spreads easily and one swipe is enough to cover your lip pigmentation (if any). The color is so beautiful that it can brighten up your face and can make a statement in itself. It is perfect for summer and if you guys can do check this shade out.

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
