REVIEW: Kryolan Glamour Sparks in Noble Sparks

Review of Kryolan Glamour Sparks in Noble Sparks

Every once in a while, a girl needs some bling in her life... Some OTT shimmer... Some in-your-face glitter and the works! I am personally not a bling loving person but once in a blue moon I sure crave for some shimmer and I feel the incessant urge to embrace bling... For such days and occasions I got myself Kryolan Glamour Sparks in Noble Spark...

If you look beyond the fancy name you'll realise it's basically just loose shimmery eye shadow that is begging to be used in your next EOTD... Kryolan Glamour Sparks come in a variety of shades from reds to greens to various shades of blue to copper to silver to golden and what not... I got myself Noble Sparks, which is more of silver than any other shade.

The Kryolan Glamour Sparks are softly milled and do not feel chunky at all. They don't irritate the eye or make your eyes water. They don't need a shimmer glue and stay in place almost all night. If correctly used and strategically placed, it has the power to transform you into a glamorous diva ready to take on the night.

Price of Kryolan Glamour Sparks

They cost INR 800 for 3 gms of product

Kryolan Glamour Sparks is perhaps one of the higher costing products that Kryolan has and it isn't really without merit. Texture wise its a winner, staying power is pretty decent and packaging is also pretty sturdy and travel friendly.

It comes in a tiny dibbi with an inner lid that has a hole in the middle to dispense small amounts of product and a screw on cap that tightly shuts and avoids spillage.

Makeup Done Using Kryolan Glamour Sparks in Noble Spark

Oooohhhsss And Aaaahhhsss!!!
1. Pretty shimmer
2. Finely milled and is not chunky in texture
3. Does not irritate the eye
4. The container is travel friendly
5. Has good staying power
6. Comes in a variety of shades and you are bound to find one that will catch your fancy.

Ouches!!!
1. Availability could be a problem, since these are available at only Kryolan stores.
2. Some may find it to be a little heavy on the pocket.
3. Since its in the form of a loose powder, it may deem a little uncomfortable to few.

The Last Words...
If you like shimmer but hate the chunky ones and don't want them to irritate your eye, then Kryolan Glamour Sparks is something you might want to give a shot. I am pretty sure that it will not disappoint :)

Even I am mot a shimmer-loving person but yes , once in while I crave for some OTT stuff and . A cute product I must say . Isnt it costly in comparison to their lipsticks and kajal/eye pencil ?

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…
