The Week That Was: My Regular Makeup From Last Week...
Ladies... I have had the most fabulous weekend ever all thanks to Lakme for arranging a superb session of makeup masterclass with Natasha Nischol and Sarah-Jane Dias and of course to my amazing and uber-cool fashion blogger friend Abhilasha of LookingGoodFeelingFab who personally knows Sneha Arora (yup the designer!) and hence got us some front row seats for her show at the Lakme Fashion Week. But more about it later...
This past couple of weeks I have been drawn to nude and neutral makeup and my previous LOTD posts are proof of that. If you have missed them then you can check them out HERE, HERE and HERE... So it isn't really a surprise that the whole of my previous week I have again sported the neutral look...
Here's a glimpse of it...
2. Next, fill in your brows and give it some definition. While doing a nude or a neutral makeup, defining your eyebrows is a must in order to prevent looking washed out. I have used Konad Eyebrow Pencil.
3. Next, you may want to highlight your browbone area with a pale, iridescent eyeshadow. Please note that this is an optional step. This step merely highlights your eyebrow further and gives an arch to your brows. I have used MAC Ricepaper Eyeshadow (review HERE).
4. Then taking a cream eyeshadow in a pale shimmery hue, apply it all over your eyelids. I have used MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study.
5. Next apply your favorite kajal on your waterline, liquid liner on your upper lashline and mascara on your lashes. I have used Mabelline Colossal Kajal, Maybelline Hyperglossy Liquid Liner (review HERE) and MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara (review HERE).
6. Apply a neutral blush for a natural looking flush. This is an important step as this is the only form of colour we will be giving to the whole look. Hence, it is safe to say that this is another step that prevents you from looking washed out and sick. I have used Colorbar Powder Blush in Plum Brown (review HERE).
7. Finally, finish your look with a nude lip gloss. I am wearing Colorbar True Gloss in Natural Tan (review HERE).
Hope you liked the look. Feedback as always is welcome...
