Review: Anne French Tender Care Creme Hair Remover

Review of Anne French Tender Care Creme Hair Remover

Imagine this... You just got a call from your bestie on a Saturday night telling you that your ex has been rumored to be seen with his current at this uber awesome club and that you should also make an appearance to you know scope out the scene... You slam the phone down and open your wardrobe to look for something slinky and hot and yet something that spells casual and chic... You zero onto your black, lace shorts from Zara that you got the other day and find a sheer, cream top to go with it...
Everything goes fine till you realise that you in the period between two waxing sessions, where the growth isn't much and hence the salon chick refuses to put you under the knife waxing cloth but still your legs aren't smooth enough for you to flaunt them...

You know what I am talking about right! I find myself in these kinds of situations so many times in a month that I had almost given up... But then there came help from Anne French Tender Care...

Now we all know Anne French has existed since times immemorial but they have now come up with a new look, some new additions and have no doubt made the experience of flaunting smooth legs extremely convenient and very very easy...

The new Anne French comes with a detachable easy-on applicator and a skin polishing sponge. All one needs to do is remove the seal from the tube, screw on the easy-on applicator, squeeze the product out, spread it out using the slanted edge of the applicator, keep it on for 5 mins and then just wipe away the product with the hair using the wet skin polishing sponge and VOILA! you have smooth legs :)

I plan to keep a pack or two in my vanity drawer for such emergency situations...

1. Extremely convenient to use
2. Super handy during emergency situations
3. Comes with the goodness of Shea Butter
4. Dermatologically tested.
5. Super quicks. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.
6. Including the sponge was a fabulous idea, since wiping away hair removal creams have always been an issue.
7. Has a mild, comforting fragrance.

Ouches!
1. Hair removal creams are only great as in-between products.

I know I know this is a hair removal cream review, but just the fact that Anne French's made it really so convenient was enough for me to accept a sample and write a review for it...

    1. I have heard the same about hair removal creams too Parul... Though I don't know if it is true or false... Which is why I only use them as in-between products while waxing is my permanent solution... I have always used Veet and Anne French during "emergency" situations since almost 9 years now and I haven't fortunately seen any skin darkening... *Touchwood* ;)
      Hope this helps!

    1. with regular waxing sessions, an intermittent usage of hair removal creams don't really cause in-growths... however I do get in-growths if I use these creams regularly... Plus I have noticed more in-growths with epilators...

  3. What's wrong with hair removal reviews? It's not just the pretty lipsticks and eyeshadows which we need to know about... these are the small things which make a huuuuge difference in how we look...so reviews are useful!

    1. Ummmm yes Nina I am married... The situation stated above is a hypothetical situation being used to show an "emergency" but in satire... Because in reality a little hair growth is no emergency per se... But for a teenager funny incidents like these do spell "emergency" :D

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.
