Review of MUA Undress Me Too Palette
Guest Post By: Shabby
Well don't know about you guys but since Urban Decay has launched NAKED and NAKED II palette and NARS their famous ORGASM blush I feel the Beauty World has become rather obsessed with these cheeky and catchy names for their products. So when I heard MUA's UNDRESS ME TOO palette was a dupe for the NAKED II from Urban Decay I simply had to get it. Well one more reason was that I was not ready to shell out 40$ for the naked one.
Well read on to know what I feel
MUA produces so many affordable and effective makeup products and the best part they sell online and ship to India. Well this is truly a boon for us as so I got my hands on this BABY!!
Well this was my first palette from MUA and I must admit though I am a sucker for BLACK MATTE packaging I don't really like the black glossy ones, and especially the ones which feel cheap. So the white palette from MUA was a welcome effort. It looks quite classy, the shades are mentioned on the back of the palette for us to remember and use.
A Neutral palette is a must in every Makeup enthusiast's vanity and this one is simply the next best thing to UD ones. While the shades are not an exact match but they are the next best thing to the UD palette and what more do you expect for 4GBP?
Price of MUA Undress Me Too PaletteIt costs INT 4 GBP
The palette came with a dual sponge ended applicator which will simply lay unused by me.
The shade in the palette range from a highlighter to browns to gold's to bronze to a beautiful matte black to create gorgeous Smokey eyes. I am really amazed at the quality offered at only 4GBP. Even with the shipping it's still less than 500INR and I don't see a brand offering such good quality at such low price.
The colors are easy to blend and are not at all chalky.
Naked: A matte shade to use as a base.
Devotion: A light metallic golden shade. I love to use this for a daytime look
Shy: A little darker version of naked .A shimmery highlighter shade, great to use as a base.
Fiery: A metallic copper shade
Dreamy: A dark metallic gold shade
Tranquil: A pale bronze gold shimmery shade
Exposed: This is a metallic grey shade. A perfect charcoal -Smokey grey
Reveal: Is a great taupe with brown undertone.
Wink: A metallic bronze with coppery tones
Obsessed: A dark brown that is matte
Corrupt: a matte black shade for creating Smokey eyes
Now for the Pros and Cons:
- Easy on the pocket
- Good pigmentation
- Blends easily
- A good dupe for Naked 2 palette
- Stays a good amount of time on lids which can be increased with a primer
- Travel friendly
- Availability for the common people though MUA does ship to India
- Some shades are not as pigmented as the rest
So at last should you MUA Undress Me Too Palette?
Yes you definitely should as it's only GBP 4 and at this rate you get a good neutral palette which does a fabulous job.
