REVIEW: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart Valentine

Review of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain In Sweetheart Valentine

Guest Post By: Shabby

Well guys if you still don't know about the Revlon kissable balm stains then you are missing a great product big time. This is one product which has taken both the international as well as Indian blog-o-sphere like a rage. These are basically balms with colors but not your average tinted balms these leave a stain your lips and also these are glossy. Interested?

These babies were so popular that all shades went out of stock in a short while online and I had to wait some time till they came back in stock. I had decided to get this one only and I am so glad I did. The name justly fits the color of the balm stain. The packaging is a twist up crayon pencil packaging and the package is color coded so that makes it locating easy. The cap is also color coded. The name of the shade is mentioned on the bottom on a sticker.  The color is a bright pink which flatters EVERYONE. The color looks great any skin tone and is a perfect way to flaunt your lips this season. The lip balm provides a shiny color which can hide any amount of lip pigmentation easily. You can also build up the color. The shiny effect stays for 3 hours max leaving behind a strong hint of color which is matte. The color stays the whole day- Yes WHOLE DAY!!! I have to remove it with a makeup remover or baby oil to get it off and still my lips retain little of the tint till next day.

Price of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balms

Revlon kissable balm stains retail at INR 600/-

For those with dry lips may need to exfoliate and use lip balm prior to using this .But this does not dry lips out and cause any dryness. It is a must have product for all. Though Clinique and Lakme are trying to replace this with their Chubby Sticks and Lip Tints respectively these are far better. They give you the coverage, the glossy look, make thin lips look fuller but do not make fuller lips look unflattering. These stay the whole day- no need for touch ups. Yes, I can go all day bragging about these.

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
